👚👔Second Hand Uniform 👔👚

We are looking for donations of good condition second hand uniform in all sizes!

We are hoping to help some families currently in need of uniform and then set up a pre-loved sale rail in the office with any excess.

We are looking for:
- grey trousers
- grey skirts
- navy sweat shirts or cardigans (with or without logo)
- white polo shirts
- book bags
- back packs

Any donations can be dropped off to the office and would be hugely appreciated 👚👔🎒

**** Important - please read ****

We've had a fantastic year seeing how much the children have enjoyed the events we've put on for them but we have a desperate plea for parents.

Please stick to our deadlines.

During our last two events we've had a significant number of parents asking to make bookings and payments after the deadlines. We're a very small committee - there's only six of us - and while we all enjoy giving the children these extra opportunities, we're doing it alongside our day jobs and looking after our own families. We often don't even see our own children at school events because we're so busy hosting them.

We set booking and payment deadlines to make sure we have everything ready and to make the best use of our time. Every late request takes up even more of our time - which we are giving for free - and the time of school staff.

For today's discos the new booking deadline was last Friday and the snacks were bought at the weekend. Since the deadline we received 12 late requests for tickets. Similarly with Foam Fest, we received seven late requests including five on the day of the event. Some of these have still not been paid for.

We went out of our way to accommodate the late requests because we didn't want any of the children to miss out, but going forward we will no longer be able to do this. From September, once the deadline for an event has passed we will not be accepting any late bookings or payments - we just don't have the time to deal with them.

We hope you can understand our position, and as always we would welcome any of you to come and help at our events.

If you still need to order school uniform ready for next year (this includes the new style jumpers and cardigans, and new PE kit) place your order through the national school uniform website before *tomorrow* to have it delivered to school free of charge!

Any orders placed after tomorrow will be subject to a £4.90 delivery charge and will be delivered to your home.

Heres the art competition winners!

Thank you to Where The Wildlings Roam for organising this and donating the prizes! The hall looks wonderful with all the artwork in the window. The Judges have left some lovely feedback for the winners:

Year R - "What a lovely collection of animated animals - a natural artist in the making - keep drawing"

Year 1 - "What a lovely natural piece of art - I would love to have it framed and hung on my wall"

Year 2 - "The use of mixed media is magical! It makes me want to follow a sparkly trail into an enchanted forest"

Year 3 - "The detail on the tiger is so impressive - it has great expression and sense of movement"

Year 4 - "An incredibly gorgeous green wash in the background and such skilled animals drawings in the foreground"

Year 5 - "Such a beautiful, interesting and thoughtful composition around nature - the mixed media is perfection"

Year 6 - "I love the character captured by the fox, such a happy expression. His environment has been skillfully painted"
