We are delighted to celebrate the exceptional GCSE achievements of our Year 11 students.
This year, 13% of all grades achieved were Grade 9.
30% of grades were awarded at Grades 9–8, alongside strong added value across a range of subjects.
These results are a testament to the determination and hard work of our Year 11 students.

As our students take their next steps into the Sixth Form and beyond, we wish them every success and look forward to welcoming them back to continue their educational journey.

Congratulations to the class of 2026 🎓

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our Year 13 students and their fantastic achievements today.

This year’s results saw significant improvements across the board, including a seven percentage point increase at both A/A and A–B**, alongside some exceptional individual and departmental successes.

Our Stamfordians are now heading to an exciting range of destinations, from Oxbridge and leading universities to creative industries, agriculture, sport and vocational pathways.

Congratulations to every student, and thank you to the staff and families who have supported them throughout their Stamford journey. 💙

Reunion Weekend Album 📸

Following the reunion lunches, alumni enjoyed an evening of sport, drinks and the chance to relive old memories, before the weekend concluded with the annual Reverend Tommy Wright Cup cricket match at Tolethorpe, where the Old Stamfordian Association reclaimed the trophy for the first time since 2016.

A huge thank you to Tolethorpe Park Cricket Club for their warm hospitality and for hosting a fantastic occasion.

Thank you to everyone who returned. We hope you loved every moment, and we can’t wait to welcome you back again next year.

A fantastic evening at our Summer Concert, showcasing the incredible talent of our musicians across solo performances, chamber groups and ensembles.

From Star Wars and train whistles to beautiful choral performances and outstanding soloists. Congratulations to all who performed and thank you to everyone who came along to support our talented students. 👏🎵

Stamford offers Level 3 BTEC Engineering 🔧

This course provides students with an additional pathway into one of the UK’s most innovative and important industries.

Equivalent to one A Level, the qualification combines academic study with practical, project-based learning, preparing students for university, degree apprenticeships and careers across Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering.

The introduction of this course follows significant investment in facilities and resources ensuring students benefit from a high-quality learning environment.

As the only education provider in the local area to offer this qualification, Stamford is committed to equipping students with the technical knowledge, problem-solving ability and professional skills needed to thrive in the engineering sector.

💙 A proud moment as Chris Seal, Head, and Alex Osiatynski, Director of Music, presented a cheque to the RAF Benevolent Fund following a fantastic community fundraising effort.

Stamford School students performed alongside the prestigious Royal Air Force College Band in a special charity concert on Thursday 23 April 2026, raising funds for the RAF Benevolent Fund.

Thank you to everyone who supported such an important cause and helped make a real difference 👏
