🔴 Year R/1 – Friday
🔴 Year 2 – Monday & Thursday
🔴 Year 3 – Monday & Thursday
🔴 Year 4 – Tuesday & Thursday
🔴 Year 5 – Tuesday & Wednesday
🔴 Year 6 – Wednesday & Friday

Please note that these P.E. days will not begin until next week, so children should come to school in their normal school uniform tomorrow and Friday.

We hope you’ve all had a lovely summer break - we were lucky with the weather for at least half of it! ☀️

Before we begin a brand new school year, I realised I never shared these lovely photos from our Year 6 Leavers’ Worship! 🥹❤️

As our former Year 6 pupils get ready to start their new adventure in Year 7, we want to wish them all the very best of luck! We will really miss seeing them around St George’s, but we know they’ll continue to achieve great things at secondary school! ✨

And to everyone returning to us tomorrow… we can’t wait to see you and hear all about your summer! ❤️⭐️😁

🌿✨ Year 6 Forest School Finale ✨🌿

What a truly magical way to spend one of our final days together as a Year 6 class. 💚

Our Year 6 children enjoyed an unforgettable Forest School Finale, spending the whole day – and into the early evening – making the most of every moment together in the great outdoors.

The woods were filled with laughter as the children played enormous games of hide and seek and capture the flag, climbed trees, built dens and treehouses, relaxed on the swings, sewed, whittled willow, made mud balls and explored their creativity through woodwork. It was a joy to see them embracing every opportunity, working together, encouraging one another and simply enjoying being children.

As the day drew to a close, we gathered around the campfire to cook hotdogs and toast s'mores. Watching everyone chatting, laughing and reflecting together around the fire was a truly special moment, and for many, the highlight of a day they will never forget.

As these children prepare to leave us and begin their next adventure, it was heartwarming to see them making memories that we hope will stay with them for a lifetime. Days like these remind us that some of the most valuable learning happens beyond the classroom—through friendship, resilience, adventure and shared experiences.

We couldn't be prouder of the way they conducted themselves throughout the day. They were kind, respectful, adventurous and an absolute credit to our school.

Thank you, Year 6, for filling our woods with so much laughter and happiness. What a perfect way to celebrate the end of an incredible journey together. 🌳❤️

⭐️🌸ASPIRATIONS DAY 2026!🌻 🌟

A huge thank you to all of the companies and volunteers who gave up their time to make this year’s event such a fantastic success. The children absolutely loved getting hands-on experiences, asking lots of questions and learning all about a wide range of real-world careers.

The day began with an exciting opening ceremony that set the tone for an unforgettable Aspirations Day. We were incredibly fortunate to hear an inspiring talk from Hannah Gold, whose powerful message encouraged our children to dream big and believe in themselves. This was followed by an incredible dance performance from Welland School of Dance, before our fabulous school choir filled us with pride through their wonderful performance. It was a truly uplifting start to the day and left everyone feeling inspired, motivated and incredibly proud to be part of our St. George's community!

Opportunities like these help to inspire our pupils and broaden their horizons, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make the day so memorable. Thank you for supporting our school and our children!✨⭐️

We were so lucky to have the chance to meet a professional racing driver for Revolution Race cars Jude Peters. Jude, the emerging star in Endurance Racing presented his journey through Simulator racing to gaining a seat in his first team racing in the Michelin Le Mans Cup in the LMP3 class with Team Virage. Thank you to Jude for inspiring our students and taking the time and answering questions from our children!🏁🏎

🎨ART & DT WEEK! 🎨

The creativity has been flowing in every classroom. Around school we’ve seen castle building, shadow sculptures, soap sculptures, model playgrounds, bolognese cooking and thought-provoking art installations, to name just a few!

It’s been so lovely to see the children using their imagination, creativity and teamwork to bring their ideas to life. ✨⭐️
