The Daisies have shown excellent independence in caring for themselves. At Little Lane Nursery, we actively promote toothbrushing as part of our daily routine, helping our children develop an understanding of the importance of good oral hygiene and encouraging positive habits that support their overall health and wellbeing. 🤍🪥

The Bluebells have been learning about The Little Red Hen and were delighted to enjoy a real life connection to the story. We were incredibly fortunate that Chloe, our Forest School Assistant, brought in her own chickens from home for the children to meet. This provided a wonderful hands-on learning experience, allowing the children to observe the chickens up close and deepen their understanding of the story. What an amazing and memorable opportunity for the Bluebells! 🐓

The Buttercups have had a busy week learning about People Who Help Us. The children enjoyed visits to the train station and fire station, spotting diggers, and seeing Ross the postman. We are so fortunate to have such wonderful real-life learning opportunities to support the children’s development. ♥️

Today the Daisy Room celebrated World Environment Day with a visit to the Second Meadows. The children enjoyed a nature scavenger hunt, explored the outdoors, and discovered the world around them through curiosity and adventure. It was wonderful to see nature through their eyes. 🌿🌎
