What a way to finish off the half term for our Level 2 Sport students today 💥. For the Planning and Leading unit our Level 2 Sports students lead on the annual Primary School Basketball festival. All the students did amazingly well, developing their confidence for leading young people throughout the day 👏

Well done to all the schools involved 👏. A big shout out to The Bythams Primary School who were the eventual winners. 🏆.

Congratulations to Jodie Walton and Joseph Seaborn, representing the East Midlands in the AOC Sport National Championship Finals at the University of Nottingham! 👏 Jodie picked up a medal, coming second for the East Midlands in the team event! A great start to the new term ahead 👏🏃

Our Personal Training students had a productive visit to the Arnold’s Sports Festival today in Birmingham A great insight for current and future trends in the Personal Training Industry. Our students will now push on to the final stages of their course to become Level 3 Personal Trainers 👏🏋️

Today our learners in Sport and Public Services have a had talk from about Water Safety. Thank you to Amy and Corey for leading on this, a great insight for our learners around what to look out for, going into the summer term 👍

Excellent work by Arshan and the Sports Coaching Year 1 group this term , leading our Skills for Work and Living students through a series of different Sports and Gym exercises 👏💪

It’s been a busy week, with our Sport and Public Services students competing in the PAN Football and Endurance Run in the regional championships. Well done to our Football team and Endurance runners in qualifying for the National Finals in April at the University of Nottingham 👏

Today our Sport, Football Academy and Public Services learners had a talk from Alison about knife crime and the signs to look out for. This will go towards our Personal Development hours, in developing knowledge on wider aspects to the courses our learners study 📖

A visit to the Forest Facility Adventure Centre today for some team building for our Football and Public Services students. We go again next week with our Sports students taking on the great activities on offer 🔫🧗🪓⛳️

Our Sports Coaching students had their first practical lesson of the year today. This lesson was a good intro to Sports Coaching and the craft of teaching new skills and techniques 👏

A very busy week at Borderville this week with trips and visits, along with hosting vocational and GCSE exams. We finished the week off with the annual Primary School Basketball Festival, well done to all the schools who took part and of course our Level 2 Sports students. Some more valuable experience for them in leading young people, this time through Basketball skills and mini games 👏🏆🥇🥈🥉
