Meet Kyle, one of our former students who now works at Works4u as our Facilities Support Assistant! 👏

Kyle is starting an exciting new project using our 3D printer and put it to the test today by creating his very own coaster.

Keep an eye out for future creations, which we hope to have available on the shelves at R and R Stalybridge! 💙

We’re also looking forward to our students getting hands on experience with the 3D printer during their sessions. 🖨️

Faithful or Traitor? 👀🕵️

You’ve seen it on TV, but now we’re doing it Works4u style!

A few secret traitors have been chosen, and over the coming weeks, our staff will face challenges, banishments, recruitments and murders as they try to uncover who’s really faithful. 🗡️

Everyone’s claiming to be faithful, but can you spot any suspicious faces in this video? 👀

Keep watching to see how it all unfolds!

Today, a group of our learners visited Ashton United for their first volunteering session! ⚽

They got stuck into litter picking and tidying up the surrounding environment. 💙

A huge thank you to everyone for all your hard work today.

Well done, everyone! 👏

🍁🍂 Another Day, Another Autumn Adventure at Works4U!🍂🍁

Autumn really is the season that keeps on giving, and our Art Therapy learners have been making the most of nature’s wonderful collection of fallen leaves, seeds and seasonal treasures! 🍃🎨

Today, creativity was flowing as our learners explored leaf art, drawing their own designs and bringing them to life using leaves in all sorts of imaginative ways!

🍁 Some created fabulous hairstyles using leaves as hair!

🍂 Others designed their own unique pieces of artwork, full of personality and imagination.

🦔 And we even had an absolutely fantastic hedgehog make an appearance!

We also started exploring how nature can inspire us to create beautiful Autumn and Christmas decorations, using foraged materials to make something truly special. 🎄✨

Even more excitingly, some of these wonderful handmade creations will soon be available to purchase at our R&R Relove & Reuse Opportunity Shop in Stalybridge! 🛍️💚

It's amazing to see how something as simple as a fallen leaf or seed can spark imagination, encourage self-expression and become a beautiful piece of art.

At Works4U, we love giving our learners the freedom to explore, experiment and discover just how creative they can be! ❤️

🍁 Nature provides the materials, our learners provide the magic!🍁

Things have been getting spooky in Functional Skills this week! 🧟🧟‍♀️

Our learners have been watching Shaun of the Dead, sharing their opinions and writing about how they would survive a zombie apocalypse.

Here are some of our learners getting into character! 🎃

Remember, all students are invited to our Halloween party at The Lock next Friday. Keep an eye out for more information around college.💚
