✨🌍 Earth Day 🌍✨

Today is the celebration of Earth Day! 🌍 The Preschool 1 children got involved in an exciting activity where they have to save the animals from the litter in the ocean!

They got to explore lots of different materials and textures such as shaving foam, rice, sand and different sea creatures. 🐳

The children were developing on their fine motor skills by using the tweezers to pick out the litter and also using the magnifying glasses to detect where the litter is hidden! They also enjoyed reading The Undersea Cleaning Spree which teaches the children the importance of cleaning the ocean 🌊

Our middle room project!
We had the exciting arrival of our caterpillars yesterday!
Today we had the eggs delivered to watch the chicks hatch!
Finally we hope to have some tadpoles with us soon!
All the children will be taking part in different activities on the different life cycles.
You are more than welcome to have a look on collections just ask a member of staff and please be very careful and respectful.

✨🌸🐣 Spring Chicks 🐣🌸✨

The children in toddler room had lots of fun making spring chicks. The children were able to easily follow the instructions whilst creating their chick and confidently answer questions such as “where do you think the chicks eyes will go?” whilst placing them in the correct place. The children enjoyed the sensory experience of crunching up the tissue paper and hearing the crackles. This activity focuses on developing their fine motor skills as well as their creativity🐣☺️💛🌸
