🎉 What a brilliant first day! 🎉

We’ve had a fantastic first day welcoming our Year 7 and Year 11 students back to Dixons Pennine Academy.

We finished the day with a wonderful guard of honour to celebrate our Year 7 students completing their very first day at the academy. Our Year 11 students and staff lined the route, applauding and cheering them as they left school. A lovely way to mark the start of their journey with us. 👏💙

We’re already looking forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday!

📚 A reminder for Monday:
• School opens at 8:00am
• Free breakfast is available from 8:00–8:30am
• Students should be on site by 8:30am
• Please ensure students arrive in the correct uniform and with the correct equipment ready for learning.

Thank you to all our students, staff and families for such a positive start to the new school year. We can’t wait to see everyone again on Monday! 🌟

🎒 Back to School Reminder 🎒

We are looking forward to welcoming our students back to school! Please take note of the following return dates:

📅 Friday 4th September: Year 7 & Year 11 students return
📅 Monday 7th September: All remaining year groups return

⏰ Students should aim to be on site for 8:30am.

🥣 School will be open from 8:00am, with a free breakfast available for all students between 8:00–8:30am.

👔 Uniform & Equipment
Please ensure that all students return to school meeting our expected uniform and equipment standards. If you are unsure what is required, please refer to the end-of-academic-year newsletter shared with families before the summer break, or visit the relevant pages on our school website.

🎓 GCSE Results Day – Thursday 20th August 🎓

We’re looking forward to welcoming our students back to school on Thursday 20th August, from 10:00–11:30am, to collect their GCSE results.

📍 Where to go:
Students should enter through Students Reception at the front of school. Results will be available to collect from the Main Hall.

We know that Results Day can bring a mixture of excitement, anticipation and nerves, and it’s completely normal to feel apprehensive. 💙 Our priority is making sure all of our students feel supported throughout the morning.
