What Next?

Students in Years 10 and 11 had a break from visiting external providers this morning.

🎓 Year 11 | Help You Choose
Our Year 11 students had an important assembly this morning with our Careers Coordinator, Miss Wynne, focusing on Help You Choose and planning their next steps after Year 11.

The session included a helpful recap on how to use the Help You Choose system, including exploring post-16 options and navigating applications.

A timely reminder too: if you haven’t already, now is the time to get those all-important further education applications submitted!

We encourage all our Year 11 students to make the most of the support available and take those important next steps towards their future.

It’s especially useful for next year’s Work Experience placements, helping students to research different industries, explore potential career pathways and make informed choices about the opportunities they’d like to pursue.

We’re encouraging all Year 10 students to log in, have a look around and start making the most of everything UniFrog has to offer.

British Museum - Live Broadcast 🖼

We have an exciting opportunity for students to join a live British Museum schools’ broadcast exploring the Bayeux Tapestry and the events of 1066 on Wednesday 14th October between 10.30am and 11.30am.

The date makes the event particularly special, as it marks the 960th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings.

We’ll be showing the broadcast live in the Library, and it is open to students from all year groups.

There are just 40 places, available on a first come, first served basis so please see Miss Spencer as soon as possible to secure your place!

The broadcast runs across morning break, so students are welcome to bring a drink and snack with them to have in the Library during the viewing.
