GCSE Results 2026

A reminder that GCSE results day is this Thursday, the 20th August 2026. All students are welcome to collect their results from the Main Hall between 9.00am and 11.00am.

Students will be issued with their statement of GCSE results on a report generated by the school; this can be used as evidence for college and post-16 course admissions. Students will be required to sign to confirm that they have collected their results, indicate what their post-16 destinations are and give forwarding contact details.

Please note that GCSE results belong to the student only and cannot be collected by another person. If your child is unable to collect their results, they can nominate a close relative of their family (not friend, neighbour, or acquaintance) to collect their results in their place. If someone is collecting results on behalf of your child, the collector will need to ensure they bring written permission from the child and their own photographic identification, for example a driving licence or passport. Please note that if the nominated person comes and does not have a written permission or a photo ID, they will not be permitted to collect the results.

Uncollected results will be posted out at the end of results day by 2nd class mail to the address held on our system. If you believe the home address we hold for your child may not be correct, please contact the school office as a matter of urgency.

Please note that GCSE certificates and Art/Photography work will be available to collect from school at the end of November 2026. More details regarding this will be shared in Autumn term.

Creative work from Year 8!

Our Year 8 students have been busy in Art creating some fantastic Day of the Dead clay skulls. As part of the project, they explored the traditions of Día de los Mu***os, researching its cultural significance before incorporating vibrant, traditional patterns into their own unique designs.

Well done to all of our talented Year 8 artists for producing such fantastic pieces of work! 👏🎨

Post-16 Spotlight 🔦

Applications open at 9am on Monday 20th July for October's Year 10 & 11 Career Insight Week at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The highly anticipated three-day programme will run during the October half-term (27th–29th October) and is designed to give students a comprehensive insight into various NHS careers. Participants typically get the opportunity to take part in interactive sessions and tours across more than ten clinical and non-clinical hospital departments, which in previous years have included Nursing, Midwifery, Physiotherapy, Pathology, and the Quadram Institute.

Details on how to apply for a place will be shared on the NNUH Apprenticeships and Skills Academy page on 20th July.

Chef Jackson's World Cup Street Food Menu ⚽️

Ahead of tonight's World Cup semi-final clash against Argentina, our students enjoyed a taste of South American culture as Chef Jackson introduced them to the delicious Argentinian treat, Alfajores! Two delicate, crumbly shortbread cookies held together by a rich filling of dulce de leche.

Let's hope England Alfa-scores their way into a place in the Final! 🏆

Our talented Year 7 artists have been getting creative with clay!

Using hand-building techniques, students designed and sculpted their own unique clay creations before bringing them to life with acrylic paints.

We are so proud of the fantastic effort and individuality shown in every piece, especially when for some, it is the first time working with clay. Well done, Year 7! 👏🖌️
