We spoke about what animals we can see and what noises they make, and where we would fine them to support with our understanding and speaking. we also added some counting into our activity to support mathematics.

The wait is almost over!

At some point over the coming weeks you’ll arrive at nursery to drop off your little one and will notice a few changes around the setting, most notably our brand new Partou signage! As we begin to transition into our new brand, we’ll also be changing the name of our nursery page. Don’t worry if this doesn’t happen straight away, we’ll be busy making sure our page gets updated, so we’re all aligned and operating under our brand new Partou nursery name.

During this transition, you may also notice a blend of the old and new name as our support teams work to update our systems. Please bare with us, behind the scenes they’re working their little socks off to ensure the transition to our new nursery name goes smoothly.

These are exciting times for our nursery as we start our journey into becoming Partou and we’re thrilled that you’re with us as we take the first steps on this amazing adventure!

Our children really enjoy sensory experiences with paint but some do not like getting messy.
We tried some cling film painting, so children could mix colour and make patterns without getting messy. the children told us they were making rainbows.

As the weather is staring to warm up we are getting ready to dig our garden and plant some seeds, we are learning about how seeds grow and how we need to prepare the ground. We have really enjoyed digging in the garden and using real gardening tools to support us with this.

Our 2-3 have really enjoyed reading stories. they enjoy reading stories alone, with their teachers and to their friends. Learning new words and learning the stories. We have stories to support with sharing, helping others, being kind, and healty eating just to name a few. We also have a reading library for the children to share these stories at home with their parents and cares.
