Happy New Year from Staines Martial Arts! We are back to training as usual this evening with classes Wednesday and Thursday 8pm-10pm.
These guys absolutely smashed training this last year and I can't wait to see how they handle everything thrown their way this year too! If you have been thinking of taking up something new then now is the time to do it! New starters are always welcome to our adult classes, regardless of experience!

This week I was incredibly proud to award Myles his very first grade. Myles has been the epitome of steadfast determination and has worked incredibly hard for this. I'm also very proud of each and every one of his training partners over the past few months who have helped and encouraged and shared their own learnings to bring out the best in each other.
I continue to be impressed every week by these guys!

Belated congratulations to Richard who absolutely smashed his first grading last week! This chap is putting in the work in the dojo as well as killing it softly with his music off the mats!

I honestly thought the greatest fight this week would be with the heat but these guys absolutely smashed it! Wednesday was a real scorcher, even along the river but we pushed through and saw some fantastic training and brilliant technique on the mats but Thursday was even hotter still and this group just pushed and pushed and blew me away with the effort and resilience!
Special congratulations go out to Joel who absolutely smashed his yellow belt grading last week and was wearing it mighty well this week!
