A CPD certificate and CPD accreditation are not the same thing, and most people
find out the difference at the worst possible moment.

Anyone can hand out a certificate at the end of a course. It proves someone turned
up. It says nothing about whether the training was any good.

CPD accreditation works the other way round. It means an independent body has
reviewed the course, its structure, content and outcomes and confirmed it meets
a recognised standard before a single learner walks in.

So the question to ask a training provider isn't "is there a certificate?"
It's "who checked this, and against what?"
