…continuing with our bird theme this week, we fed the ducks and foraged some things from nature to build a warm nest for our feathery friends….and we made our own birds to take home. We also got some treasure to make ice art over night, just to see how cold it is and what happens to the water! It was funny watching them trying to get the diggers out of the water 🤣

What a week, we kept a close eye on river levels this week. Despite the cold we got out to feed our feathery friends.
Inspired by the very noisy birds singing on the way home, we made some feeders for them to hang in the trees at the park - the children loved doing this….
We also made some bird shaped bread rolls to take home, I’ll not lie, I was very happy with the outcome!
One of the children thought his liked like a robin! 🥰😍❤️

What a week, we’re talking about numbers and recognising them whilst out and about in the community….we also talked about remembrance day, and yes they enjoyed decorating their poppy biscuits….and painting poppies. Finished we itv bc s new soft play - great fun driving cars, riding bikes, crawling through tunnels, jumping in ball pools and bouncy castle
