Today not only have we said goodbye to all the children starting 'Big School' in September but have also said goodbye to Melanie and Lori who after an amazing 28 years have made the decision to retire.
We would like to wish all the children the very best in their new schools and Melanie and Lori a restful and very well deserved retirement x

This week the children are going to be looking through their leaving folders. Today we've been talking about their time spent at Scallywags, smiling and remembering the photos taken and all the hard work they've done.
Continuing with our 'Summer Seaside' theme, the children are enjoying making iced 'Fish' biscuits. They've been so excited to eat them, if you didn't get to see them here are a few 😉

Today the children have been to the beach (shame the weather hasn't cooperated) They've enjoyed exploring the tuff tray in the activity room and at the craft table made under the sea pictures using a mix of sponge paint, sand, shells, glitter and material.
The children have also been practicing our rhyme "3 Little Sandcastles"
