I have been teaching for over 15 years—and I’ve been a mum for even longer.
Both roles have shown me the need for space and time in learning. The learning process is not linear.
Children need time to revisit ideas, approach them in different ways, and build confidence through repetition. That process of returning to and recycling knowledge is what helps new skills truly stick in long-term memory.
That’s the real beauty of tuition: it adapts to your child. Rather than pushing ahead, it moves at their pace—ensuring understanding is secure before taking the next step.
If you would like bespoke tuition for your child, please do get in touch.

An admin day today - after an incredibly busy two weeks. I have availability from June onwards for small group or individual tuition, in a new, purpose-built learning space.
I still have a little availability from September onwards for SAT groups - 1:1 and small group sessions ( maximum 1:3)

The Artemis II project relied on the same maths our KS2 children learn every day 🚀
From measuring distance to sharing resources and reading data, it’s amazing to show pupils how their classroom skills connect to real life (and even space!).
Making maths meaningful = making it stick

🧮 K loves maths and would like support to achieve ‘Greater Depth’ in SATs next year.
S is not so confident and is about to start high school. They would like help with the four operations and number fact recall.
Two individuals - two bespoke curriculums. 📝
Tailored support to align with interests.
Keeping the fun,
while enhancing the focus.

🌊 Summer Prep for the Next School Year 🌊
1:1 tuition availability - July onwards
As the summer holidays approach, it’s a valuable time for students to rest and recharge 🔋but also an ideal opportunity to get ready and feel prepared for the year ahead.
I am able to offer 1:1 and small group tuition.
Over the summer, I am offering small group boosters - structured as four weekly sessions- to be arranged to work with your holiday plans. This is well suited to students who would benefit from:
• Revisiting key concepts
• Strengthening confidence in core subjects
• Preparing for a smooth and positive start in September
•Exploring anything they are worried about in terms of their own learning
Sessions are designed to be focused, supportive, and tailored to individual need and interests - helping students return to school feeling more confident and prepared.
Before booking, I offer a free informal chat (or video call). This is a chance for you and your child to get to know me, discuss goals, and ensure the sessions are the right fit.
If you would like further information or to arrange an initial chat, please feel free to message me directly.

Yes! We can draw on tables in our sessions.
Estimating and measuring angles - then snooker game angle predictions 🎱
Followed by visual fractions to grasp improper fractions and mixed numbers, finishing with a ‘match them up’ card game.
A real eureka moment 💡
It all just ‘clicked’

Learning never stops!
Especially when you’re the teacher!
I’m spending some time every weekend investing in my own skill set
