COACH SPOTLIGHT 💗✨
Something I think we need to normalise more in the fitness industry is that coaches are human too 📣
People often assume that because we coach others, we must always be motivated, always disciplined, always in shape, and always have everything figured out. The reality is that we’re navigating life just like everyone else 💭
Over the last few years, I’ve experienced seasons where my own goals took a back seat. I’ve gone through periods where work became the priority, where life got busy, where my routine wasn’t as consistent as I’d have liked, and where I simply wasn’t showing up for myself in the way I knew I could🤍
And honestly? That’s okay💞
Progress isn’t about never falling off track. It’s about having the courage to start again when you do🫶🏻✨
These photos represent more than a physical transformation. They represent rebuilding habits, keeping promises to myself, finding confidence again, and proving that small actions repeated over time really do add up👏🏻
As coaches, we’re often so focused on helping others reach their goals that we can forget to check in with ourselves. This journey has been a reminder that I deserve the same patience, compassion, and support that I give to my clients every day💗
If you’re currently in a place where you feel like you’ve lost momentum, gained weight, fallen out of routine, or drifted away from your goals, please know that you’re not alone. You haven’t ruined your progress. You haven’t failed. You’re simply in a chapter, not at the end of the story✨🫶🏻

On 30.05.26, we celebrated two incredible years of TLL 🥹✨
This year’s anniversary social was all about creativity, connection, and quality time together. We spent the afternoon painting pottery at Pretty Pots before heading out for food, drinks, and plenty of laughs 💖🎨🍹
What a year it’s been. We introduced sports massage services, launched the TLL Ladies Lifting Club at Achilles Gym, welcomed so many amazing women into our community, and of course gained our most valued member… Nutmeg 🥺🐶🐾 Our resident mascot, cuddle provider, and part-time mental health worker.
Looking around the table, I felt so proud. Not just of how much TLL has grown, but of the incredible women who make it what it is. What started as a dream has become a community, a support system, and for many of us, a second home 🏠🩷
Thank you to every single lady who has trusted me, supported TLL, and shown up for herself over the last two years. Watching your confidence, strength, and friendships grow has been the greatest privilege 💌

MY JOURNEY ✨💗
I started training when I was younger, at a time when I was struggling with bullying and my mental health. The gym became my escape — I’d spend my lunch breaks there just to get away and feel some sense of control. I started with my brothers, who taught me how to lift, and from there I took it into my own hands, going in and doing what felt right without really understanding what I was doing.
Over time, it became a huge part of my life — but not always in a healthy way. I went from being a slightly chubbier kid to under-fuelling, overtraining, and punishing myself for eating “bad” foods. During lockdown especially, my relationship with my body and food became toxic. I was constantly chasing being smaller, and at my lowest weight of 70kg, I felt completely disconnected from myself.
But deep down I knew the gym was meant to build me, not break me. Seeing other women struggle in the same way made me realise I wanted to help people do this properly. So I educated myself, completed my PT qualification, and learned how to train and fuel my body with purpose and respect.
Now I’m 85kg and the happiest, strongest, and most confident I’ve ever been. I’m living proof that the scale isn’t something to fear — and that feeling healthy, strong, and confident will always matter more than just being smaller.
I created The Lifting Lodge to give women a safe, empowering space to grow, build confidence, and realise what they’re truly capable of. If you’d told me years ago I’d be running my own women’s community, I wouldn’t have believed you — I never felt ready. But you don’t wait to feel ready, you become ready.
This journey has never just been about how I look — it’s about who I’ve become.
And younger me would be so proud🤍

SARAH 💗🔥 — Client Spotlight (Update) ✨
We first shared Sarah’s spotlight earlier in her journey… and now it’s time for an update because the progress just keeps coming 👏

In that time, Sarah even spent a whole month in Australia — proof that life, travel, and time away doesn’t undo your progress when your habits and mindset are solid. She came back stronger, focused, and still moving forward with her goals 💪
And the changes? Full body recomp.
✨ Significant fat loss across her whole body
✨ Leaner, stronger physique
✨ Confidence and energy through the roof
✨ Strength numbers continuing to climb
The numbers then → now:
Weight: 98kg → 86kg
Calves: 44cm → 40cm
Thighs: 61cm → 57cm
Glutes & lower stomach: 121cm → 112cm
Waist: 98cm → 83cm
Back & bust: 111cm → 105cm
Arms: 32cm → 30cm
Strength-wise she’s absolutely flying too:
70kg squat
40kg bench
80kg deadlift
120kg hip thrust
Just to name a few of the big lifts — and she’s still getting stronger every block of training.
What I’m most proud of though is her mindset. Sarah trusts the process now. She trains hard, shows up consistently, and pushes herself every session. The results we’re seeing are exactly what happens when someone backs themselves and sticks with it.
Watching her confidence grow and seeing her realise what she’s capable of has been unreal.

With so many new faces here, I wanted to reintroduce myself properly.
I’m Hollie — 25, Women’s Health & Physiology Coach, Personal Trainer, Sports Massage Therapist, and founder of The Lifting Lodge located in Stafford👯♀️💗
