🌈🎂 Our beautiful daughter turned 1 last week! 🥹💕

We had the loveliest weekend celebrating our little girl with family, friends, lots of cuddles, cake and a giant unicorn 🦄 🌈

I honestly can’t believe how quickly her first year has gone. Watching her grow into the happy, sociable little girl she is has been the absolute best. 🥰

Happy 1st birthday, beautiful girl! 💕

WOW! 🥹 I’ve had so many lovely messages since my post last week about starting to take on a few bookings again!

So, if you’re new here, I thought I’d introduce myself again 👋

I’m Frances, owner of Staffordshire Sitting Services. I’ve worked in childcare and pet care for over 20 years and have lots of experience. I’ve worked as a teacher and nursery practitioner too.

After taking some time away while I had my little girl, I’m now starting to take on a small number of bookings again. My availability is limited, as I’m balancing mum life alongside my other business, Rainbow Rhythm Co.

For anyone who doesn’t know, Rainbow Rhythm Co is my parenting consultancy, supporting parents with routines, sleep and behaviour, as well as running relaxed local mum and baby/toddler meet-ups. 🌈

For Staffordshire Sitting Services, I’m currently offering the following within around 10 miles of Hixon:

🐱 Cat & small animal visits
🐶 Some dog visits for existing clients
👶 Ad hoc nannying
🌙 Babysitting

For some nannying/pet care bookings, my miniature assistant, now 1, will come along with me. 🥰

She’s a lovely little addition for the children I look after… they have a little buddy to play with, explore with and enjoy their day alongside. I love getting children out and about, so nannying days might include farms, parks, walks, cafés and other local adventures.

It also gives parents the chance to work, get jobs done or simply have some time to themselves, knowing their little one is having a fun day and is well cared for. ❤️

I’m DBS checked, fully insured and first aid trained, with over 20 years of childcare and pet care experience.

A little glimpse of one of our nannying days this week 🥰

We had such a lovely day out, starting at amerton_farm for lots of exploring, playing and animal spotting 🐴🐑, then heading to barlaston_mlk_barn for a very important milkshake stop! 🥤😂

The two little ones have already become the best of friends, which has been so lovely to see. 💕 Having my little one with me means there’s always someone to play, explore and have fun with, making our days together even more enjoyable.

And while they’re busy having fun and enjoying their day, it means their parents can get on with work, jobs and everything else that needs doing, knowing they’re being well looked after. 🥰

It’s been really lovely getting back to a bit of ad hoc nannying alongside Rainbow Rhythm Co, and spending the day doing what I love… getting out and about and making lovely memories with little ones. 🥰

A little personal update from us today 🥰

Today me and mini me are heading back to nannying! 👶🏼💕

I’ll be taking on a small amount of ad hoc nannying and pet care again, alongside running my mum and baby groups with Rainbow Rhythm Co., so my availability will be a little more limited these days, but I’m really excited to be back doing the things I love!

It feels a bit strange going back after having over a year off, especially with my tiny sidekick coming along with me now 😂❤️

I’ve really missed the children and the animals, so it’s lovely to be able to start fitting a few jobs back into mum life.

So if you’re looking for some occasional childcare or pet care, feel free to drop me a message and I’ll always do my best to help if I have the availability 🥰

Hi everyone 💛

I just wanted to pop on with a little life and business update.

As many of you know, I’m currently on maternity leave with my little one, who is now almost seven months old (how did that happen so fast?!). It’s such a special time, but it does mean I’m not able to run Staffordshire Sitting Services in the way I usually would.

At the moment, I’m only able to offer a very limited number of small pet visits locally, and unfortunately I’m not in a position to take on our usual range of childcare, pet care, or wedding bookings just yet. I know this may be disappointing, and I really appreciate your patience and understanding.

Alongside being on maternity leave, I’ve had the time to work on something I’ve wanted to do for years... I’ve set up Rainbow Rhythm Co. 💛

Over the years, through my work as a teacher and in childcare, I’ve supported so many families with routines, sleep, and behaviour, it’s something I’ve always naturally done and I genuinely loved helping with.. I’ve now turned that experience into an official business so I can support parents in a calm, simple and realistic way. And since having my own baby, I get it on a whole new level.

In the meantime, if you do message about childcare or pet care, I will always try my best to recommend a trusted local sitter where I can 💛

Staffordshire Sitting Services is still here, I’m just taking things slowly for now and focusing on this time with my family. I’ll continue to share any updates as things evolve.

🎀 Baby News! 🎀

She’s here! 💕 We know lots of you have been waiting to hear, and we’re thrilled to announce the safe arrival of Frances’ beautiful baby girl. Both mum and baby are doing brilliantly, and our hearts are overflowing with joy!

While Frances is enjoying every moment of maternity leave, the business will be paused. ✨

We can often recommend trusted pet sitters or nannies during this time and will reply to messages as soon as we can.
