Hi everyone 💛

I just wanted to pop on with a little life and business update.

As many of you know, I’m currently on maternity leave with my little one, who is now almost seven months old (how did that happen so fast?!). It’s such a special time, but it does mean I’m not able to run Staffordshire Sitting Services in the way I usually would.

At the moment, I’m only able to offer a very limited number of small pet visits locally, and unfortunately I’m not in a position to take on our usual range of childcare, pet care, or wedding bookings just yet. I know this may be disappointing, and I really appreciate your patience and understanding.

Alongside being on maternity leave, I’ve had the time to work on something I’ve wanted to do for years... I’ve set up Rainbow Rhythm Co. 💛

Over the years, through my work as a teacher and in childcare, I’ve supported so many families with routines, sleep, and behaviour, it’s something I’ve always naturally done and I genuinely loved helping with.. I’ve now turned that experience into an official business so I can support parents in a calm, simple and realistic way. And since having my own baby, I get it on a whole new level.

In the meantime, if you do message about childcare or pet care, I will always try my best to recommend a trusted local sitter where I can 💛

Staffordshire Sitting Services is still here, I’m just taking things slowly for now and focusing on this time with my family. I’ll continue to share any updates as things evolve.

She’s here! 💕 We know lots of you have been waiting to hear, and we’re thrilled to announce the safe arrival of Frances’ beautiful baby girl. Both mum and baby are doing brilliantly, and our hearts are overflowing with joy!

While Frances is enjoying every moment of maternity leave, the business will be paused. ✨

We can often recommend trusted pet sitters or nannies during this time and will reply to messages as soon as we can.

A lot of you will have heard about Frances’ pets over the years, so wanted to share a sad update with you…

Rupert used the last of his 9 lives today and we had to say goodbye 😞
He was a stray in the village in 2018 and I took him in not knowing he was incontinent, but I adapted and bought him a very expensive chicken house- named the p***y palace! He lived 7 happy years with me and the rest of the p***y patrol. He had many cat friends in the village too!
Thank you to everyone who gave me beds and pillows for him and made his last years the best 💔
