The Summer Ball lived up to the billing and was a fantastic evening. It was wonderful to see a number of last year’s leavers back as alumni and we all saw Mr Bullock in his element as the auctioneer. A huge thank you to the Parents’ Association for organising a wonderful event, especially to Mrs Ashton and to all the parents and staff who supported the occasion. Everyone looked to have a fantastic time. Staffordshire Living Magazine independentschoolparent

Our Year 10 pupils have had a great day out in the Peak District for their Silver Practice expedition.

The sun has been shining as they navigated their way through paths and trails.

It is now time to cook before taking on Day 2 tomorrow.

We love our collaborations with local schools. Following on from yesterday’s fantastic STEM day when we welcomed Cooper Perry Primary School, , and Veritas Primary Academy to join our own teams of pupils to get their Crest Award in a day, today it was the turn of the musicians.

The wonderful Mr Lamplough and Mrs Farmer put on a superb composition workshop morning for the Year 7 pupils from Yarlet School, and the pupils were brimming with excitement and creativity.

Next week Newbridge Prep will be coming for another composition workshop and then the following week is the big event, which sees hundreds of children from across South Staffordshire coming to the school for a series of choral workshops before putting on a concert for 600+ parents in the evening.

It’s all go at Stafford Grammar School! If you are interested in joining us for any of these wonderful events, please get in touch.

After a lovely evening at the cinema, year 7 were keen to see their French penfriends again this morning. They competed in a multicultural quiz where they had to converse and share their knowledge of their own country. After exchanging phone numbers, it was time to make their way to the ferry for the journey home.

Year 4 stepped back in time with a fantastic Viking and Anglo-Saxon adventure at Tamworth Castle!

They explored life as archaeologists uncovered how Anglo-Saxon and Viking societies were organised, and even finished the morning as fearless warriors! 🏰✨

A brilliant day of history brought to life!

A fantastic last day for the Year 8's in Germany. They spent the whole day in the Fantasia Themepark exploring the main rides and attractions.

Some of the pupils conquered their fears of the big rides whilst others realised rides were not for them!

Churros were a big hit in the food court. Many pupils bought and devoured the chocolate covered treats.

Happy birthday to Mr Keeble, Theo and Kaoru. We hope they had a great day.

The pupils have been really well behaved and were punctual to the meet times.

It was a great day to finish the trip. Now to get packed and ready for the trip home.

The children had a fantastic morning, conquering their fears and embracing the challenge of the zip-wire. This was followed by a lovely picnic at the beach to recover before heading to the lighthouse.

Our U11 cricket team headed over to Duffield Cricket Club to compete in the ISA U11 Kwik Cricket Tournament.

The team played brilliantly and won their group. In the semi-finals they lost by one run to the overall winners OVS but then won the playoff to come away with bronze medals.

This is well deserved as they have been working really hard on their skills and tactics with Mr Martin. Well done everyone!

Following an afternoon of fun at the theme park, year 7 had a quick stop at the shopping centre before eating a Breton speciality, pancakes! The evening finished with a very competitive game of laser tag.
