Welcoming Our New Starters

Starting nursery is a very special milestone, and we want every child and family to feel welcomed, valued and reassured from the very beginning. We provide a warm, nurturing environment where children can settle at their own pace, build trusting relationships and feel confident to explore their new surroundings.

Through gentle introductions, familiar routines and lots of encouragement, we help our new starters feel safe, happy and excited about their learning journey. We work closely with families to make those first steps as positive and comfortable as possible — because every child deserves the best start.

We have some large magnetic tiles if anyone would like them , for a small donation 😊 message if interested. First come, first served.

As another wonderful year at nursery comes to an end, we'd like to wish all of our leavers the very best as they begin their exciting new adventure at primary school this September. We are so proud of each and every one of you, and we know you'll all do amazingly well.
We've shared so much fun, love, laughter, and many happy memories throughout the year, and we hope all of our children have enjoyed their time with us as much as we've enjoyed having them.
To all of our families returning in September, we can't wait to welcome you back for another fantastic year.

Some activities on Friday, making tea and decorating teapots, followed by enjoying a traditional cream tea as part of VE day celebrations.

Our lovely village playgroup is looking for a kind, reliable Play Practitioner to join us! If you enjoy working with young children, getting stuck into creative play, and being part of a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you. We’re a small setting with a big heart, right at the centre of village life.
Level 2 or 3 qualification in relevant childcare is essential.
Based in a local primary school, Great Haywood, ST18 0SU
