Great Haywood under 5s

We welcomed Autumn at GHU5s this week, the children have been exploring our woodland small world area, creating autumnal trees using their fine manipulate skills using paint and cotton buds.
We have enjoyed another super session with Moo music and farmer Kate Cranston taking us on another wonderful adventure, and Kayleigh Turu from through the stage door tots joined us for a bear hunt.
Our extra curricular activities are always fun and engaging, get children moving and help with communication and language.

Why We Encourage Healthy Eating at GHU5s
We believe that healthy eating is an important part of helping children grow, learn and feel their best. At GHU5s, we encourage children to enjoy a variety of nutritious foods and explore different tastes and textures in a relaxed and positive way.
We want to help children develop healthy habits from an early age, while making mealtimes enjoyable and social. We also encourage children to become more independent and confident around food, supporting them to make healthy choices as they grow.

Welcoming Our New Starters

Starting nursery is a very special milestone, and we want every child and family to feel welcomed, valued and reassured from the very beginning. We provide a warm, nurturing environment where children can settle at their own pace, build trusting relationships and feel confident to explore their new surroundings.

Through gentle introductions, familiar routines and lots of encouragement, we help our new starters feel safe, happy and excited about their learning journey. We work closely with families to make those first steps as positive and comfortable as possible — because every child deserves the best start.

As another wonderful year at nursery comes to an end, we'd like to wish all of our leavers the very best as they begin their exciting new adventure at primary school this September. We are so proud of each and every one of you, and we know you'll all do amazingly well.
We've shared so much fun, love, laughter, and many happy memories throughout the year, and we hope all of our children have enjoyed their time with us as much as we've enjoyed having them.
To all of our families returning in September, we can't wait to welcome you back for another fantastic year.
