NEWCASTLE MUSIC CENTRE - And that’s a wrap!!!! 3 concerts, a theme park trip, a chocolate factory Tour, trip to Ypres, WW1 site visits and a final trip to the Menin Gate Last Post service …. Phew!!!!

What an amazing trip. Well done to the fabulous performers and a huge thank you to that staff who have worked tirelessly to ensure everyone arrive home safe and sound 🥰🥰

NEWCASTLE MUSIC CENTRE - Amazing Day 2 on Tour today. Started with a trip to Bellewaerde Theme Park for all of our thrill-seekers, and then after a meal out we performed a fabulous first concert in the bandstand at Ostend 🎶🎶🎶

🌞🎶 What a fantastic day at our Summer ‘Virtual’ Sing-Along! 🎶🌞

Today, we were joined by 56 schools from across The Music Partnership, with an incredible 15,000 young singers taking part… WOW! 🤩👏

We had an amazing time at our HQ in Stafford, alongside our partners MusicShare and their fantastic live band, brilliantly supported by the Staffordshire Brass Quintet. 🎺🎸

We were also delighted to welcome Joseph Davis Music, our 2024 Staffordshire Young Composer winner, who inspired everyone with one of his original compositions and an incredible loop pedal performance of Superstition. What a talent! 👏✨

A huge thank you goes to the amazing Jonathan Tritton and his team at JTV Production for bringing the whole event together so brilliantly.

Congratulations to everyone involved, and a massive thank you to all the schools, teachers and young people who joined us today. We hope you had as much fun as we did!

NEWCASTLE MUSIC CENTRE- all very exciting now as our promo materials have arrived for our Belgium Tour 2026 with St John Fisher Catholic College 🥳🥳🥳

The early hours of Saturday morning will see us leaving for a 4 day tour of Belgium with 3 concerts, a theme park trip and chocolate factory tour ❤️❤️

We’ve had the absolute pleasure of hosting the Staffordshire Young Musician Final, with 42 outstanding finalists performing over two unforgettable days.

A huge thank you to our exceptional adjudicators, SuRie and Bruce O’Neil, whose insightful feedback and encouraging words inspired every performer. We were also delighted to celebrate our Staffordshire Young Composers, who collected their awards and heard their wonderful compositions performed live – a truly special moment with adjudicator Steve Willey.

To every young musician and composer who took part: thank you. Your talent, dedication and passion made this weekend so memorable. You are all winners in our eyes, and we’re incredibly proud of each and every one of you.

Entrust Music Service are all set up at Rugeley John Taylor Secondary School, for year 6 transition evening. If you are around and have any questions about instrumental lessons speak to Mr Glover, Mrs Glover and Mr Hilton. Lessons are available to start for new year 7's and 8's in September.

The Music Partnership

Tonight we’re at our second concert of the day, this time in the beautiful Stoke Minster for the Newcastle Music Centre Summer Concert 2026. 🎶

We’ve been treated to an incredible array of talent, from our beginner Blast Off group right through to the Senior Wind Band and Senior String Orchestra, with a wonderful sprinkling of choir and guitar groups along the way. Every single musician has sounded fantastic and should be immensely proud of how well prepared they’ve been.

A huge congratulations and thank you to all of the Music Service staff whose hard work behind the scenes has made tonight such a success. 👏

It’s also a bittersweet evening as we say goodbye to Mrs Farrington-Golds, our wonderful Newcastle Music Centre Manager. Thank you for everything you’ve done for the Music Service over the years.
