🎉This morning, we held our final whole school Celebration Worship of the academic year.
During the service, we celebrated our fantastic Eisteddfod by presenting certificates to everyone who took part, along with awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category. A huge congratulations to Irwin House💛, who were crowned this year's overall Eisteddfod champions!🏆

We also presented the House Point Cup to Nakate House!❤️ House point totals have been incredibly high this year, reflecting the hard work, kindness and positive attitudes shown by all of our children. We are so proud of everyone's efforts!
A special shout out to our four amazing house captains this year! We wish them all the best on their move to high school.

Well done to all of our pupils for making this such a successful and memorable year. Keep up the fantastic work!🤩

Its looking like a another sunny day for St Giles Church Summer fete on Saturday!

🌟This morning, Conker Class headed out into the village to put up their wonderful positivity posters as part of their 'Community Passports'.🎨💛

The children created colourful posters filled with encouraging messages & positive quotes, hoping to brighten people’s day and offer a little support for mental wellbeing within our community.

We are incredibly proud of Conker Class for showing such kindness, creativity and care for others. If you spot one of their posters around the village, we hope it brings a smile to your face!😊

🦁❤️There's been a real buzz around school today as we looked forward to tonight's match! ⚽

With just two days to go until the summer holidays, our children & staff are getting into the football spirit and showing their support for England.

🎓Today is our Year 6 Leavers' Service, and we thought there was no better day to share some wonderful memories from their recent residential!📸

We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of these amazing children.🌟 Throughout their time with us, they have shown resilience, kindness, respect and an incredible work ethic. Their dedication, particularly during their SATs, has continued to 'wow' us, but what has impressed us most is the amazing young people they have become.📚

They have grown into confident, caring and mature individuals who should be immensely proud of everything they have achieved at Haughton St Giles.❤️ As they prepare to embark on their next adventure, we know they will carry the values they've shown here with them and continue to shine.🌈✨

Year 6, thank you for the memories, the laughter, the friendships and the smiles.🥹 We wish you every success and happiness as you begin this exciting new chapter.🍀🎉 You'll always be a part of our school family. 🏫💙

🌿📸🎶🧁🎬 Eisteddfod 2026 – Thank You! 🎬🧁🎶📸🌿
A huge thank you to all of our wonderful children and families for the incredible enthusiasm, creativity and effort you put into this year's Eisteddfod 2026, celebrating the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough.

We have been amazed by the fantastic range of entries across our creative categories, photography, baking, habitat model building, mini movies and musical performances. The children embraced the theme beautifully, showcasing their talents while celebrating the natural world and the inspiring work of Sir David Attenborough.
Every entry reflected thought, imagination and dedication, making the judging process incredibly difficult! From stunning wildlife-inspired photographs and delicious nature-themed bakes to detailed habitat models, creative films and wonderful musical pieces, the standard was exceptionally high.

Thank you to all the families who supported the children in bringing their ideas to life. Your encouragement and involvement helped make this year's Eisteddfod such a special celebration of creativity, learning and our shared appreciation of the world around us.

We are so proud of every child who took part we hope that you are as amazed by these entries as we have been.
