💙 Happy Feast Day of St Gabriel the Archangel!💙

Today, we join together with schools across St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi-Academy Trust to celebrate the feast day of our Trust’s patron, St Gabriel the Archangel. 🌟

As part of our celebrations, our children have been raising their voices in song, singing our special St Gabriel CMAT hymns together. 🎶🙏 It was wonderful to hear our church filled with joyful singing and to reflect on St Gabriel’s example as God’s messenger – reminding us to listen with love, speak with courage and share the Good News through our words and actions.

We are proud to be part of our St Gabriel family, united in faith, mission and love. 💙

St Gabriel the Archangel, pray for us 🙏

On Friday, we celebrated a very special moment in school as our Year 6 and Reception children came together for their Special Friends Assembly. Our Year 6 pupils have been paired with a Reception child and will be there to support, encourage and care for them throughout their first year at St Anne’s. 🌟

This special friendship is an important part of our Catholic life and mission, giving our oldest pupils the opportunity to put their faith into action by following Jesus’ example of love, kindness, service and compassion. For our Reception children, it means having a familiar older friend to look out for them, help them feel that they belong and share in special moments throughout the year.

It was wonderful to see the beginning of these friendships and to recognise how our pupils live out our mission: “With Jesus in our hearts we learn and grow… Let Trust, Respect and Love live here.” ❤️🙏

We look forward to watching these special friendships grow throughout the year!

On Tuesday 29th September, children are invited to come to school in non-uniform as we celebrate the Feast of St Gabriel the Archangel, the patron of our Catholic Multi-Academy Trust.

There is no charge or donation required for the day. It is simply an opportunity for our school community to celebrate together and recognise the special role St Gabriel plays within our Trust family.

We look forward to a lovely day of celebration! ❤️💛
