AI can give you a workout
But it can’t replace one-to-one coaching
It doesn’t watch your squat and notice your knees are moving differently
It doesn’t correct your form when you’re tired
It doesn’t celebrate your PB with you when you’ve worked your socks off
It doesn’t adapt your workout because your shoulder is niggling, your back is sore, or you’ve simply had a rubbish night’s sleep
It doesn’t know that you’ve had a stressful day, that you need a bit of encouragement, or that today you need pushing just that little bit harder
And it definitely doesn’t understand you the way your coach does
Because coaching isn’t just about counting reps and following a programme
It’s about knowing when to push, when to adapt, when to listen… and when to hand you a pre-workout coffee ☕😂
AI is a brilliant tool
But the human connection, the accountability, the encouragement and the personal attention?
That’s what makes one-to-one coaching so valuable
And that’s something I don’t think AI will ever replace
