It's National Music Day, and I'm feeling reflective

As the wife of a musician, I have a front row seat to the joys and challenges of the creative life

My husband pours his heart and soul into his craft, and I'm in awe of his talent. But I also know the grind - the late nights, the financial uncertainty, the never-ending pursuit of the next gig

I love to capture the energy of live performances, the quiet moments of practice, the camaraderie between bandmates and music often becomes intertwined with my own creative expression

So today, I'm celebrating National Music Day by honouring the musicians who inspire me - my husband included

Here's to the dreamers, the risk-takers, the note-chasers. Your work makes the world a more vibrant place 👊🏽🎶
