Yesterday, our talented Catering department headed to the Visit Staffordshire Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent Tourism Awards at the Doubletree by Hilton, and we want to say 𝒂 𝒉𝒖𝒈𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 on their achievements. 🎉

🥉 Our Riverbank Restaurant Team secured 𝑩𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒛𝒆 in the Team of the Year category.
⭐ Level 3 Professional Cookery student Max Croston took away the 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒍𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒅 award in the Rising Star category.

This recognition is testament to their talent and hard work, and 𝒘𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒔𝒐 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒅 of them for representing NSCG on the regional stage. 👏

Matt, a multi-award-winning chef and The British Culinary Federation Vice-President, suffered a life changing-injury in 2017, leading to the loss of his arm in 2024. Now, he’s using his passion for food to give back.

The lunch was a huge success to help raise funds for Katharine House Hospice, The Owl Experience Rescue Sanctuary (Haughton), Gentleshaw Wildlife Centre (Eccleshall) and various local sports clubs.

Please see below the menus for next month's guest chef nights here at The Riverbank, on March the 11th Stuart Bruce from The Chase golf club will be with us for the first takeover night and then on the 18th March Chèf Patron George Lowe will be with us from Lowes on Carter street "Uttoxeter" both events start at 7pm and cost £30 per person.
