🌿 Mental Health Support Team 🌿

We’re proud to work with the South Staffordshire Mental Health Support Team (MHST) to support the wellbeing of our students, parents and staff. The team offers friendly, confidential help with everyday mental health challenges — including worry, low mood, exam stress, anxiety, coping strategies, sleep and managing difficult emotions.

📅 Holiday Support
MHST is open 20 July – 2 September, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
If you’re experiencing low‑level mental health difficulties, you can call 01283 504487 and request a callback from a practitioner.
(Not for emergencies)

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent Workshops
The attached includes QR codes for pre‑recorded sessions on anxiety and low mood, designed to help parents support their children with confidence.

Join Our Team – Teaching Assistant (SEND)

We're excited to be recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant (SEND) to join us at The Rural Enterprise Academy on a permanent basis.

Working under the direction of the SENCO, you will support students with special educational needs to access learning, achieve their potential, and develop independence. You'll work closely with individual students and small groups, providing tailored support, adapting learning activities, implementing strategies, and helping to create an inclusive environment where every student can thrive.

As part of our experienced SEND team, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, building confidence, promoting engagement, and supporting positive outcomes both academically and personally.

💷 Support Staff Grade 5 (SCP 7) - £23,686 per annum
📚 TTO Plus (Term Time Only Plus Weeks)

Join Our Team – Attendance Officer

We're excited to be recruiting an organised, proactive, and professional Attendance Officer to join us at The Rural Enterprise Academy on a permanent basis.

Working closely with pupils, families, pastoral staff, and external agencies, you will play a key role in promoting excellent attendance across the academy. You will monitor attendance, analyse data, follow up on absences, support attendance interventions, and contribute to safeguarding procedures, helping our students to engage, achieve, and thrive.

🎉 YEAR 11 — YOU DID IT, AND WE’RE SO PROUD (AND A LITTLE EMOTIONAL)

Yesterday, Year 11 walked out of their last exam and honestly … the school hasn’t known peace like this since 2012.

But behind the jokes, the chaos, the “Miss, I’ve lost my pen again”, and the dramatic exam‑hall sighs — there’s something bigger:

You showed up.
You tried.
You kept going, even on the days you didn’t feel like you could.
And that matters more than any grade ever will.

We’ve watched you grow from tiny Year 7s who couldn’t line up properly to young people who can (mostly) remember their timetable, their calculator, and occasionally their common sense.

You made us laugh.
You made us proud.
You made us question our career choices at least twice a week — but in the best possible way.

This isn’t just the end of exams.
It’s the start of your next adventure — the one where you get to choose who you want to be, what you want to do, and how loudly you want to celebrate.
