This week, we’ve had a wonderful time exploring various activities related to Valentine’s Day, focusing on lovely colours and heart shapes. We hope you enjoyed the special masterpieces your little ones brought home!

What a fantastic start to February!

This week, all the children have been engaged in a range of fun activities. In the baby room and little movers, we've been exploring sensory experiences, allowing the children to discover different textures on our physical equipment.

Meanwhile, the Toddlers have been learning about our local environment by collecting leaves, sticks, and branches to create their own hedgehogs.

The pre-school children have enjoyed exploring the theme of "Myself and I." We also had a visit from the local fire station!

We had a wonderful time at our Pre-School Christmas Party! 🎅🏻🥳

A big thank you to all our families who joined us for the children's Christmas Performance. It was heartwarming to see everyone come together as the children sang carols and enjoyed a special visit from Santa. The smiles on their faces made it truly magical!

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them! 🎉🎁

Last week we went to our Local Care home Gingercroft. Where the children enjoyed singing Christmas carols and doing some Arts & Crafts with the elderly!

What a wonderfully busy week we’ve had! In our Babies and Little Movers group, the topic has been "10 Fat Sausages." The children have had a fantastic time creating music with pots and pans, making lots of joyful sounds! 🎤🪇🥁

In the Toddler room, we’ve been exploring emotions, helping the children express their feelings and create their very own Colour Monsters.💜💙💚

Meanwhile, our Pre-School children have been enjoying a lovely selection of books, including "A Home In Two Places," written by one of our wonderful parents. They’ve truly loved listening to this story, and it’s been delightful to hear them share their own creative stories too!🥰🐻

💛🌼 CHILDREN IN NEED 🌼💛 This week, we've been fundraising for Children in Need by wearing our snuggly pyjamas and anything yellow or spotty!

Children in Need is an incredible initiative that helps transform the lives of children and young people across the UK who are dealing with challenges like poverty, illness, or disability. By uniting and donating, we're ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive, feel secure, and find joy.

In addition, we've tied our activities this week to National Nursery Rhyme Week at both Nursery and Pre-School. This has been great for supporting children in all areas of learning, boosting their language, social, and motor skills.

What a busy week we have had this week!

This week we have had lots of different Sensory Activities going on in our Baby Room, Little Movers and Toddlers.

The staff team love to create lots of Sensory Activities for our little ones to explore!

Our Pre-School children have been focusing on developing the children’s understanding of shapes, patterns, numbers and quantities through all ranges of different activities from pairing and matching to cutting up our homegrown vegetables from our Vegetable patch!

Our Afterschool Club was very pleased to see our new Book Corner, along with all of our new books that they read to our Pre-School children.

Our children have been exploring our community, they have been on lots of Autumnal walks to collect some leaves, branches, conkers and pinecones.

We went to visit the Library to change over our weekly books.

Our Toddlers explored the Church as the doors were open, so we took this opportunity to look inside at the beautiful displays.

Our Pre-School children to our local florist in our village to pick out some Winter Wreaths for our Nurseries!
