Synergia Coaching Limited
Creating tomorrow's leaders today through coaching, training and consultancy. Working with our clients to enable them to be their best.
The potential of your organisation can be achieved through its greatest asset – your employees. Let us help you get the very best out of the people you employ - adopting a coaching culture into your organisation will empower your leaders and your teams to deliver the results you aspire to.
I have got to the end of this week totally buzzing about what I have been able to achieve and the direction I am moving towards.
Aligning myself with my purpose and focusing my time on working on the business rather than in it.
Unless you are an Operations Director or Deputy Head, your role is not the day to day running of the organisation.
Instead your focus should be on what you can do that others can’t. The value that you add is your expertise/ discipline/ technical knowledge.
How we make this happen can be challenging. Focusing on the tasks which enable you to add your biggest value. (This isn’t a monetary value by the way)
The feeling of alignment and balance as well as achievement is very different to just completing the tasks - that’s why I’m buzzing.
What do you need to do differently to make that happen for you?
Thank you to my team for supporting me in driving the business forward, and enabling me to trust that they have the day to day work covered.

On Monday I spoke about alignment between my activities and my purpose.
This cascades through to my Health and Wellbeing too.
If I sacrifice any aspect of my wellbeing I need to know that it’s in pursuit of my purpose.
This means I need to know my boundaries and non-negotiables.
We find this a significant topic for Heads of Schools and CEOs, as well as others beyond the C-suite.
Being clear on what our non-negotiables are, and the priorities within those enables us to feel more aligned within our life holistically.
Spending time thinking this through, can help to remove the ‘rub’ between differing aspects of life.
How is the balanced in your life?
Coming back from holiday always gives me the chance to remind myself of why I do what I do.
We find that leaders in organisations frequently bring this topic to their coaching with us.
Why are they doing what they do?
How motivated are they?
How motivated are their teams?
They get so busy that they don’t have time to reflect on these questions. To check in and make sure they are still in alignment and are sharing this with their teams.
Let me know how you would answer these questions.
"I shall pass through this world but once. If, therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again."

Final day at Gladshousekenya with the coaches putting the skills to good use with the beneficiaries. Enabling them to focus on their future:
1) What they want to achieve,
2) What that ‘river’ looks like for them.
3) What rocks, rapids, waterfalls they may face.
4) How will they overcome any of these challenges
5) Who will be there to support them as tributairies
All incredibly solutions focused with that positive mindset.
It’s powerful to see and hear it in action
