This morning, Poppies and daisies have had the best time at Little red fox play café

They have had lots of fun role playing, taking turns on the slide and having some yummy snack 🍌

💙 bluebells 💙
Last week we focused on the book bluely on the beach 🥰. It was a great book to look at during our lovely weather 😀.
We had a beach themed tray out so th children could enjoy building sandcastles, and mixing it with water to make different textures. We used communication to talk about what we would see at the beach.

Last week sunflowers enjoyed lots of water and ice play to keep cool. ☀️💧The children loved sliding down the slide into water, 🛝splashing, filling and emptying containers and rescuing the dinosaurs from the ice. 🦖

Today in bluebells, we have been talking about a very special event thats happing today 😀 the solar eclipse 🌞🌚.
We have looked at some pictures 📸, made some suns and moons using different materials, and also made our own viewing box 🥰

Last week Poppies enjoyed exploring the book of the week "going on a bear hunt"
We explored different media creating our own bear faces, went on a bearfoot walk feeling textures beneath our feet, looked at cause and affect when bear ice painting and enjoyed the snowstorm messy play. We learnt new vocabulary and repeated phrases from the story.

Today Bluebells have been out in the community visiting the charity shop to buy new books for the room,the children have enjoyed playing with the toys and had lots of fun riding around the shop on the balance bikes and reading storys together 📖❤️
