This week sunflowers have been looking at the book supertato bubbly troubly. 🫧
We have been talking about healthy eating and looking at different fruit and veg. 🍓🫛
The children then went to the shop on Wednesday to buy some different fruit and vegetables. The children also enjoyed some time at the park.🛝
On Thursday the children were inspired by the fruit and veg. 🍅🍋‍🟩They picked their own resources to make a picture. 🎨🖌
On friday we used our cutting skills to chop the fruit and veg. 🍴We then did some tasting of them. We spoke about our likes and dislikes.

Last week in daisies we enjoyed focusing on the nursery rhyme 'old macdonald'as the children have been showing great interest in animals. They enjoyed exploring our taste safe tuff tray where they got to explore different textures and making marks. We also celebrated our friends 1st Birthday where we had a birthday cake tuff tray and practised their scooping skills as well as filling and emptying, of course they enjoyed eating it too 😋

🎂 BAKING 🎂

Yesterday, poppies had lots of fun going to the shop to buy ingredients for baking. Poppies got to experience handing over the items and paying for the shopping.

On our way back, poppies enjoyed splashing in muddy puddles 🌧

In the afternoon, poppies baked their cookies. Poppies enjoyed filling, mixing and taking turns. We also implemented some number names whilst counting the chocolate chips 😋
