What a fantastic Sports Day we had! Despite the very hot weather, everyone showed great enthusiasm, determination, and team spirit. We are so proud of how well everyone took part, encouraged each other, and tried their very best.

KS1 enjoyed a fantastic Design and Technology day, exploring what a balanced diet looks like and how we can make healthy choices. The children learned about different food groups, discussed how to keep their bodies healthy, and took part in a fun taste‑testing session on Friday. Some even discovered new foods they liked and confidently added them to their wraps today, which was wonderful to see.

They then designed, made, and evaluated their very own wraps—thinking carefully about how they looked, smelt, and tasted. The highlight for many was, of course, eating their creations! It was a hands‑on, exciting day full of learning, creativity, and lots of happy faces.
