Another super achievement from one of our pupils …
What an incredible performance from Ruby as Lena in the MYTS production of Bugsy Malone! 🌟
From the moment she stepped onto the stage, she performed with confidence, energy and real character. It was wonderful to see all of her hard work and dedication shine through, and she should be so proud of what she achieved.
A huge congratulations to Ruby and to the entire cast, crew and everyone involved in putting on such a fantastic production. The talent on display was amazing, and it was a brilliant show from start to finish.
Well done, Ruby – you were absolutely fantastic! ❤️🎭👏

💙 A message from Mrs Brockhurst 💙
As we reach the end of another fantastic school year, I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to our entire Tillington community.
To our wonderful children – thank you for your enthusiasm, resilience and determination. You have worked incredibly hard, embraced every opportunity and made us proud every single day. Whether in the classroom, on the sports field, on educational visits or performing on stage, you have represented our school brilliantly.
To our parents and carers – thank you for your continued support, encouragement and partnership throughout the year. Your kindness, understanding and willingness to work alongside us make a huge difference to our school community.
To our incredible staff – thank you for your unwavering dedication, care and commitment. You go above and beyond every day to ensure our children receive the very best experiences, and I am so grateful for everything you do.
This year has certainly brought its challenges. Together, we have successfully navigated an Ofsted inspection, periods of extreme heat, a virus outbreak, and, most heartbreakingly, the tragic loss of Brodan. Throughout every challenge, our school community has shown incredible strength, compassion and resilience. The way our children, families and staff have supported one another is something I will never forget, and it truly reflects what makes Tillington such a special place.
A special mention goes to our Year 6 children. As you leave Tillington to begin your next adventure, we wish you every success and happiness. We are incredibly proud of the young people you have become and know you will go on to achieve amazing things. Remember to be kind, work hard, believe in yourselves, never stop aiming high and always be the very best you that you can be! ⭐️
Have a safe, restful and well-deserved summer break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for another exciting year on Wednesday, 2nd September. ☀️
Thank you for making Tillington such an incredible community to be part of. 💙

As we reach the end of the school year, we would like to say a huge thank you to Miss Stephens as she leaves us to begin an exciting new chapter.
Miss Stephens has shown kindness, dedication and a genuine commitment to supporting our children. She has built wonderful relationships with pupils, staff and families, and her positive attitude and caring nature have made a real difference.
We are incredibly grateful for everything she has contributed in her short time with us and know that she will be greatly missed by everyone at Tillington. While we are sad to see her go, we are also excited for her as she embarks on her new adventure and wish her every success and happiness for the future.
Thank you, Miss Stephens, for everything you have done. Once part of the Tillington family, always part of the Tillington family. We wish you all the very best in your new role!

🏅 Tillington Achieves Gold!
We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the Gold School Games Mark Award for our commitment to physical education, school sport and competition.
This fantastic achievement recognises the wide range of sporting opportunities available to our pupils, as well as their enthusiasm, teamwork, determination and sportsmanship. We are incredibly proud of all the children who have represented the school, taken part in clubs and competitions, and challenged themselves to try new activities.
Thank you to our PE lead, Mr Tucker!

⭐️ To Our Year 6 Leavers ⭐️
Today marks your final day at Tillington, and what a journey it has been.
It’s hard to believe where time has gone since they first walked through the doors and took their very first steps into school life.
Many of you began your school journey during one of the most unusual times imaginable. As Reception children, you experienced lockdowns, home learning and video lessons, missing many of the moments that normally make those first years of school so special. Yet through resilience, determination and incredible positivity, you’ve made it!
Over the years, you have built lasting friendships, embraced every opportunity, overcome challenges and grown into confident and talented young people.
We have been privileged to watch you develop, celebrate your achievements, support one another and create memories that we know you’ll carry with you for years to come.
To our families, thank you.
Thank you for your encouragement, your support and for working alongside us throughout your child’s primary journey. From school runs and homework to performances, trips, sports days and every milestone in between, you’ve been there every step of the way. We are incredibly grateful that you trusted us with such an important part of your children’s lives.
Today will be full of laughter, proud moments, heartfelt goodbyes and, we’re sure, a few tears too.
Year 6, we couldn’t be prouder of everything you have achieved. As you begin your next adventure, remember to be the best you you can be!
Good luck—we can’t wait to see all that the future holds for you. 💙✨

The incredible £2,790 raised this year was only possible because of the support of our school community and our super PTFA.
We’d love a few more helping hands next year- whether that’s an hour at an event, baking a cake or setting up stalls. Every little bit helps, and together we can continue creating amazing experiences for our children. If you’d like to get involved, please get in touch!

We had Charlotte from Staffordshire library services visit us to launch the summer reading challenge!
She played a game where we had to work out the pictures showing a song or a book. She spoke about this years reading challenge on the theme of music and reading. To finish, Charlotte read part of her favourite story.
To take part in the reading challenge go to the library and collect a pack. 📚📖
