🎉 What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of course with our ODP2023 cohort! 🎉

From all of the ODP team, we want to say how incredibly proud we are of each and every one of you. You have been a fantastic cohort, and it has been a privilege to watch you grow into the caring, compassionate Operating Department Practitioners you are today.

As you begin the next chapter of your careers, never forget to speak up for what's right, always keep your patients at the heart of everything you do, and continue to make a positive difference every day 💙

Congratulations on all that you have achieved. We can't wait to celebrate with you and your loved ones at graduation! 🎓

For now, enjoy a well-deserved summer break, reflect on how far you've come, and be proud of the dedication and hard work that has brought you to this point.

Well done 💙

Another fantastic day with third-year ODP students, who designed and delivered simulation sessions for our first-year students!
The scenarios covered a range of key topics, including:
🩺 Missing suture management
🩺 A–E assessment in PACU
🩺 Safe removal of an i-gel airway
🩺 Laryngospasm
Again huge credit to our third-year students for creating and facilitating such engaging, informative, and realistic simulation experiences. Your enthusiasm, professionalism, and commitment to supporting the 2025 cohort have been outstanding.
Congratulations also on successfully completing your Foundations of Simulation course – a fantastic achievement that will undoubtedly benefit your future practice. Well done, everyone!

PS its been too hot for scrubs hence the lack of uniform seen, our labs are a tad warm the past couple of days 😅☀️
