W e are incredibly proud of two of our Year 4 pupils who have taken the initiative to launch a Gardening Club. They planned the sessions, presented their ideas to the school and organised the resources themselves. The first session took place this week and was a huge success, with children fully engaged and enthusiastic. A wonderful example of leadership, teamwork and creativity!
On Friday we honoured Sir David Attenborough turning 100 by spending the day outdoors in nature. We tidied our outdoor areas, planted new flowers, created a vegetable patch, built sweet pea teepees in forest school as well as creating many feeders for the birds and insects around us.
Oaks class visited The Pioneer Centre in Cleobury Mortimer last week. The children were respectful, compassionate and courageous throughout. We all had a wonderful time.

Today, Saplings and Oaks Class visited the Sedgley Street Gurdwara in Wolverhampton as part of their RE learning about the Sikh religion and exploring a Sikh place of worship.
The children had a wonderful experience learning about Sikh beliefs, traditions, and the importance of the Gurdwara within the community. It was a fantastic opportunity to bring their classroom learning to life and deepen their understanding through first-hand experience.
A big thank you to Mrs Gidda and Mrs Byrne for organising such an enriching and memorable visit!

Some of our year 3 and 4 children had the opportunity to take part in an athletics competition this afternoon. They did us proud and finished in 4th place!
In Oaks class gymnastics lessons, we have been learning and performing the core shapes - star, pike, straddle and tuck. We have some super gymnasts!
Yesterday the children and their families came to Prayer Space with Cathy to reflect on our Christian Value of Compassion. Our Prayer Space is an opportunity to explore prayer in lots of different ways
