⭐ What a week to remember at St John's! ⭐
Last week, our amazing children wowed audiences with their fantastic performance of Annie Jr..
From learning songs, mastering dances and remembering lines, every child showed incredible dedication, enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the rehearsal process. Their confidence and talent shone on stage, and the performances were so polished that it was hard to believe we weren't watching a West End production!
A huge congratulations must go to Miss Challiner and Mrs Boot for their outstanding direction, endless encouragement and the many hours of hard work they invested to bring the show to life.
Most importantly, we are immensely proud of every single one of our performers. Our children, aged just 4–9 years, were simply outstanding. They entertained, inspired and amazed everyone in the audience, creating memories that will last for years to come.
Well done to all of our stars—you truly were "Tomorrow's" brightest talents! 🌟🎭👏

We are really proud of all of our KS2 children who have represented St. John’s in cricket tournaments in the last fortnight. We had so many children wanting to join in that we had two teams. All children involved not only played brilliant cricket but also showed exemplary behaviour and sportspersonship!

🌿🐦 **Garden Club – Week 3** 🐦🌿

This week, our Year 4 children continued to do a fantastic job leading Garden Club for the younger pupils. They guided the group in making bird feeders using lard, toilet rolls, string and bird seed, helping everyone to learn about supporting local wildlife.

At the end of the session, the children chose whether to take their bird feeders home to hang in their own gardens or to place them around the school grounds for our feathered visitors to enjoy.

Well done to our Year 4 leaders for showing such enthusiasm, responsibility and teamwork! 💚🐦

Keeping cool at St John’s today! ☀️❄️😎😎

The children had a wonderful time staying cool in the school gazebo, enjoying refreshing ice pops, finding plenty of shade, and having fun with water sprayed from a super soaker. They also loved dipping their feet in cold water to help beat the heat.

It’s been fantastic to see everyone smiling, laughing, and making the most of the warm weather while staying safe and cool. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so enjoyable! 💙💦🍦
