Elev8 Home Education by Nurse Jaime

Elev8 Home Education by Nurse Jaime A Nurse and Tutor: offering group sessions and 1:1 learning on the human body KS1-KS4, GCSE&iGCSE....

I have been a nurse for sooo many years now, and loved working in A&E for most of my career. Outside of my job I am a busy mum of 3 teens, I read, I play piano and I am nuts about music generally! I love teaching as it gives me the perfect opportunity to discuss my second passion - the human body - and I love being able to share knowledge and learning with others. Fun fact: I went travelling and held an orangutan but spent the rest of my time dodging creepy crawlies!

Finally, I must post about a wonderful little boy who I teach on a 1:1 basis.....
His knowledge astounds me, he challenges me every week, he asks me questions, dives deeply into anatomy and physiology and is as excited about the human body as I am!!!
He is truly amazing and he makes me laugh every week!!
Thank you for trusting me to teach you ###xx
below is a picture that we discussed last week - it is fab!!!

I want to give a massive shout out to my KS3 group too who have also worked exceptionally hard over the last 4-5 weeks.
We finished the first block today, learning about the digestive system and they have got their head around key concepts, learned some chemistry based concepts and these are not easy!!
But! they have stuck with it, asked questions, and even though they prefer to use the chat function only, this has not been an issue.
as the weeks have progressed, their confidence has definately grown, they ask questions and also tell me when they have not understood my explanation!!
I
LOVE
THAT!!!
Well done to all of you - you have been brilliant
Bring on next week!!!!

Sooooooo super proud of my KS1 and KS2 groups today, it was the last week of the first block and I asked the groups to identify all the new words that we had learned, words that they already knew but learned more about, and also, words that explained different parts of the digestive system!
What a fab job they all did!!!
I am so of them all, they have stuck with the , taken on not just new words, but new ..
has been on top form every week and they have shown me all the time!!
Well done all of you!!!
Bring on ! Block 2 starts and we are doing
