This is Hannah! She first started learning piano in October and passed her Grade 1 piano practical exam in February with distinction!
We have been working on some grade 2 material the last couple of weeks and she is almost ready to take her grade 2 piano exam! Watch this space. Well done Hannah. What a superstar! 🌟
Yesterday was International Women's Day! Here is Farida, representing the ladies by playing some ABBA 🙌 And she learnt some pedalling techniques for this one too! 😏 Awesome job 👏
Introducing the LOVELY Isabella!

Has lockdown 2 put a halt to your 1 to 1 lessons? 😢 Don't let it stop your learning!
I am currently teaching all of my lessons online. I have some free slots for piano, saxophone, clarinet, flute, and music theory lessons at the moment if anyone is interested or knows someone that may be.
All of my students (me included!) were a bit sceptical of doing lessons online at first, but its so easy and really good fun. Keep practicing all.

This week's featured superstar is Miss Lola O'Leary. Before lockdown, we were working super hard on our ABRSM Grade 2 Theory and I am so proud to say that she smashed it with a merit 👏🎉 Congratulations mate! 💕
Lola is currently working towards her Grade 1 Piano, Grade 3 Theory and has also just started her first year at Queen Mary's Grammar School! Lola is the definition of a hard worker as when she's not putting in hours on her music, she is doing extra school work. I am always thrilled to see her progress each week. Get it girl! 💪
I had such a surreal experience today. I had a conversation with my original clarinet teacher from over 17 years ago. I remember that she gave such fun lessons and I was always looking forward to my next lesson with her.
She is the reason that I am where I am now and the reason I became a teacher and a multi-instrumentalist. I always strive to make my lessons enjoyable because of Sonia. I'll never forget where I started as a musician and will never forget the wonderful Mrs England.
I'm hoping to have a coffee and a catch up with her soon and I can only dream of having this experience in 15 years time, with one of my current students.
