Ciao everyone! After many years of pandemic related isolation, I would love to start new italian classes for beginners: in person and in St Neots.

🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉🎉@

Group lessons allow students to learn and at the same time to socialise and have some fun, (not to mention affordable costs).

I have done many classes over the years both in St Neots and Bedford, and I am sure that some of my ex-students would not mind to provide their feedback, if needed.

Did you know that…

‘the’ is a type of ‘determiner’? In English, ‘the’ can be used to refer to both female and male nouns, for example:

‘the sister’ or ‘the brother’

However, in Italian, ‘the’ is:

‘la’ for a female noun
‘il’ for a male noun

So we would say:

‘La sorella (sister)’
‘il fratello’ (brother)

the verb ‘andare’ means ‘to go’ and in italian language we say:
‘andare a Roma’
but we say:
‘andare in Italia’.
What do you think is the grammar rule?
Meanwhile, some sentences that you can try to translate (answers are in the comments).
