What an exciting week of exploring different cultures, languages and the wonderful world around us we've had at Bluebells!

This week, the children explored different languages and cultures, using a globe to discover where we live and learning more about the countries their friends and peers are from. They enjoyed creating their own continent puzzles, developing their understanding of the world while having lots of fun along the way.

The children also created their own Egyptian jewellery, exploring creativity and learning about another fascinating culture. They made flashcards to help them learn how to say hello in different languages, encouraging an interest in communication and celebrating the many different languages spoken around us. πŸ—£οΈπŸŒ

Our learning continued through a variety of tuff trays, where the children explored different countries and discovered which animals live there and what their habitats are like. They also enjoyed a sensory spaghetti tray filled with flags, giving them the opportunity to compare the different colours, shapes and designs of flags from around the world. 🌈🏳️

It has been a wonderful week of discovery, curiosity and learning about the diverse world around us. We loved seeing the children asking questions, sharing their ideas and celebrating what makes each culture unique. πŸ’™βœ¨

From creative mark making to exciting rescue missions, it's been another action-packed week at Bluebells!

This week, our little explorers enjoyed learning all about vehicles, getting creative with paint to explore the different patterns and marks vehicles can make. They also experimented with colour mixing, discovering what happens when different colours come together.

The children got creative with solar eclipse paintings, inspired by the eclipse we experienced this week, and enjoyed some delicious baking too! They made and decorated their very own traffic light biscuits, combining creativity with lots of tasty fun.

Our imaginative play was in full swing as the children took on exciting rescue missions and enjoyed role-playing car washes, using their creativity to bring their vehicle-themed adventures to life.

It has been a busy week full of creativity, discovery, imagination, and learning through play. We can't wait to see where next week's adventures take us! ✨

What a fantastic week we've had at Bluebells exploring the exciting world of pirates! 🏝️

Our little adventurers have been busy discovering pirate ships, creating their very own treasure maps, and developing their hand-eye coordination by hooking silver rings and counting how many they collected. We also enjoyed making homemade playdough, using it to create hidden treasures, and bringing pirate adventures to life through imaginative role play with our exploration trays.

It has been wonderful to see the children's creativity, communication, problem-solving, and counting skills flourish as they learned through play. We can't wait to see where next week's adventures take us! βš“βœ¨

This week at Bluebell, we've been celebrating all things summer!

The children have been exploring the exciting experiences that summer brings, from learning about sun safety to talking about summer holidays, airports, and trips to the beach. These conversations encouraged the children to share their own experiences while building their confidence and communication skills.

Our creative activities included making beautiful sand pictures and experimenting with painting using sun cream, giving the children the opportunity to explore different textures and materials in a fun and imaginative way. The children also had lots of fun exploring our seaside tuff trays, investigating a flower and water tuff tray, and taking part in farmyard bingo, which encouraged curiosity, imagination, and learning through play.

It's been a fantastic week full of creativity, conversation, and summer-themed adventures as we continue learning through play! πŸŒžπŸ’›

It's been another wonderful week of exploration, creativity and active learning at Blue Bells!

The children had lots of fun taking on an exciting obstacle course in the garden, using the climbing wall and stepping stones to move around safely while developing their balance, coordination and confidence.

They also enjoyed creating their very own construction site, transporting soil to different areas of the garden. This hands-on activity supported the children's natural schemas, encouraging problem-solving, imaginative play and teamwork.

As part of Marine Week, the children explored a variety of sea-themed tuff trays, learning about different marine animals, what they eat and the habitats they live in. It was a fantastic opportunity to spark curiosity and develop their understanding of the world around them.

To finish off the week, the children enjoyed sharing stories together and using props to bring them to life, helping to develop their imagination, communication and storytelling skills as they confidently retold their favourite tales.

It's been another week full of learning, laughter and discovery. We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, and we look forward to more exciting adventures next week!

What a wonderful week we've had at Blue Bells! With the beautiful sunny weather, the children have been finding lots of exciting ways to have fun while keeping nice and cool.

This week, the children loved decorating their very own flip-flops – a real highlight that allowed them to get creative and express their individuality.

They also enjoyed exploring an ice and fruit tuff tray, using their senses to discover different textures, colours and temperatures while having lots of fun in the sunshine.

To finish off the week, the children created beautiful sunshine pictures using their handprints, making some lovely keepsakes while celebrating the summer weather.

It's been another week full of smiles, laughter, creativity and learning through play. We hope everyone has a lovely weekend, and we can't wait for more adventures next week! πŸ’™
