Switch Now

Switch Now Switch Now is a qualified alternative education provider and recognised training provider.

Formed in 2015, we train neurodiverse and LDD young adults to enable their progression to employment and meaningful outcomes, for them to have a better future. Switch Now was founded and the idea was born out the director's own experiences, a wealth of knowledge gained and brought from teaching and working with young people with learning difficulties and disabilities in Cambridgeshire and the reco

gnition that there is a clear gap in the market in the St Neots locality for a provision of this type. Switch Now engages with and develops young adults (18-30 years) with learning difficulties and/ or disabilities, training them to be work-ready, reach their potential and lead a more fulfilling life within their community.

🎉 Congratulations, Ross! 🎉

Today, our fantastic co-worker Ross had his final meeting at the Arts Theatre Cambridge to go through the last details before starting his new role as Theatre Administrator on 21st July.

Tomorrow will be Ross's final day at Switch Now as he completes his successful work placement with the theatre and his vocational training with us.

This incredible milestone has been made possible through his hard work, adaptability, drive to achieve and dedication, alongside extensive training at both the Arts Theatre and Switch Now, with ongoing support from our Head of Job Coaching, Nicola.

Working through the BASE Supported Employment model, Nicola supported Ross, his family, and the Arts Theatre to find a job that matched Ross's strengths, interests, and ambitions.

Nicola, along with the Switch Now team, has helped Ross build his confidence, develop new skills, and successfully transition into the workplace, while also ensuring the employer had the support needed to create a positive and successful employment journey.

We couldn't be prouder of everything Ross has achieved. His determination, resilience, and willingness to embrace and overcome new challenges have been truly inspiring. Watching his confidence and independence grow has been a privilege, and we know he is going to be an incredible asset to the Arts Theatre Cambridge team.

👏 Please join us in congratulating Ross on this amazing achievement and wishing him every success as he begins this exciting new chapter. We can't wait to see all that he accomplishes!

💙 Well done, Ross—we're all so proud of you!
