At East Nook Studio we don’t just make and teach silver jewellery, we work with Community groups, Charities and private groups to offer up art and craft in many forms.

Summer time for me means Summer sessions with some of my favourite people doing all manner of crafts and botanicals!

This morning we will be working with clay, then making little loose bound books and then back out to forage to find plant materials to make interesting rubbings to decorate our books.
If it gets super hot, we might break out the water pistols and paints 🤪

Just a bunch of young adults having fun outdoors, nothing to see here folks! 😬🎨🫟

Missed this face? Summer feels weird without my weekly classes and settling into my new home studio (don’t worry, my St Andrews studio is here to stay!)
I miss seeing all the usual faces but it has been so nice to have many of you pop in to the Open Studios this weekend, where me and Brodie are parked for the weekend.
This is the piece on my bench between visits, it’s one of my favourite pieces of pottery as it’s just so different and rare and a shape that I always work with, what a find?!
Any guesses as what it’s going to be?

Well this wasn’t the end I expected to !
Unfortunately I took quite unwell during the night to the extent that an ambulance was called. I am home now, a bit sore an bewildered but ultimately OK for now.
A massive thank you to the paramedics and of course to Brodie who got an awful fright but has been cuddling me back to better health 💕
I’m hoping that after more care tomorrow, it will be business as usual, but we will need to see what unfolds from here.
Thank you to all my visitors over Saturday and Sunday, I had a whopping 260+ visitors, the most lovely chats and comments on my work, and so many that left with brochures and plans to visit more, so I hope that you all also had an incredible weekend on the trail 💕🙏

Venue 46, South Street St Andrews. Head to the west port and look for the signs to guide you up the cobbled path to the Maltbarn (near Mac Tatties baked potato shop!)
