As we come to the end of term, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful children and families for being part of Blanchelande Nursery this year. 💛

We have loved sharing the Christmas period with the children through crafts, songs, stories, and special moments together. Their smiles and enthusiasm make this time of year so special.
We wish you all a peaceful and happy Christmas and look forward to welcoming everyone back in the New Year.

This week, our nursery children have been exploring the magic of fireworks! 💥
We got creative making dazzling firework pictures using chalk and glitter, filling our room with sparkle and colour. ✨
During our Forest Kindergarten session, we continued the theme by making our own firework sticks! 🌲 The children learned all about our important stick rules, practising how to stay safe while having fun outdoors.
It’s been a week full of creativity, learning, and plenty of sparkle! 🌟💛

This week, our little adventurers have been busy exploring the great outdoors on exciting nature hunts! 👣🍂
We’ve been on the lookout for crunchy leaves, sweet chestnuts, wriggly bugs, and the perfect sticks for collecting, building, and imaginative play. The children especially loved smashing open chestnuts and throwing leaves high into the air — such joy and laughter all around! 🌰🍃
It’s been a wonderful week of curiosity, discovery, and outdoor fun. We love learning through nature! 💚🌍

💚 Last Friday, our Nursery marked World Mental Health Day with a day full of feelings and fun!
🎨🕺 We explored emotions through dance and the beloved Colour Monster story.
🐾 We also had a very special visitor, Luna the therapy dog! 🐶 The children loved sharing Ravi’s Roar with her, learning all about big feelings and how to manage them.
It was a beautiful day of learning, movement, and mindful moments. 💛✨

What a wonderful week in Nursery! 🌟
Our little learners got curious exploring a pumpkin 🎃, worked hard at the car wash 🚗💦, and melted our hearts by reading stories to the babies in the den 📚💛.

And just like that, the nursery year comes to an end 🌱✨

We couldn’t be prouder of how much our little ones have grown—whether it’s learning to share, putting on their own coats, or simply coming through the door with a smile. Every one of them has made us laugh, kept us on our toes, and filled our days with joy 💛

To our children moving up to ‘big school’—you’re ready, even if we’re not quite ready to say goodbye. And to those returning in September, we can’t wait to do it all again with you 🎒🌈

A huge thank you to our families for all your support, and to our brilliant team for giving their hearts (and energy!) every single day.
