We started today’s session with some algebra and solving equations, and when I said, “Just do one more, Timo,” I was met with, “No! I want to do lots more!” 😂

So, obviously, we had to do some trickier ones! 🧠

We then finished with a game of Mastermind online, and Timo absolutely smashed it! 🎯 He cracked the code in the fewest goes I’ve ever seen!

A great mix of maths, problem-solving and a bit of competitive thinking to finish the session 😊

Even when we’re doing reading, we’ve got to get some maths in there! Winnie is an expert at tallying our scores 🌟

A lovely day out in Liverpool with my Mum and Dad today.

We visited the beautiful St George’s Hall and, of course, I couldn’t help spotting the maths in the incredible Minton tiled floor! So much symmetry, shape, pattern and geometry everywhere you look.

After working with her brother for the last four summers, Sophie finally had her turn!

It was so lovely to see how excited she'd been, even counting down the days on the calendar!

We had a lovely time playing games, investigating numbers and solving puzzles. 😊
