Twas the night before Pre-School and all through the house, not a creature was stirring not even a mouse ๐Ÿ.

The Pre-School ladies had been busy cleaning and prepping, to welcome the children back to the setting ๐Ÿงน๐Ÿงผ.

They couldn't wait to see all of the children's faces and hear stories about their summer, their adventures and pictures of amazing places ๐Ÿ–

Don't worry if you're feeling a little nervous, or if it's you're very first day we are here to welcome you and show you the way ๐Ÿ˜Š

To our pre-school leavers 2026, don't forget to sprinkle your 'Ready confetti' under your pillow tonight ๐Ÿ› so that you wake up feeing refreshed and bright โœจ๏ธ๐Ÿซ๐ŸŽ’

We are incredibly proud to share the amazing news with our families and local community that we received our latest ofsted result, achieving STRONG STANDARD in all six areas.
As you can imagine we are so pleased with this result and the fantastic report highlights the nurturing, inclusive provision that we provide to our children and families.
We gathered today with our current families at our annual picnic in the park to celebrate this news.

It has been an emotional week preparing to say goodbye to our leavers who start school in September ๐ŸŽ“, saying goodbye to staff who have been key members of our team, making such a big impact on our children and our setting but we finish on a high being able to share this fantastic news with you ๐ŸŽ‰

We decorated biscuits, designed our own shirts, created flags with playdough and of course kept our physical activity up playing keepy uppy with the balloons ๐ŸŽˆ
Now let's go and do it all again tonight England, our children are supporting you ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿคž

Today was an exciting day for the children as our butterflies finally emerged from their chrysalis ๐Ÿฆ‹. The children have been observing the changes each day of caterpillars ๐Ÿ› to chrysalis (pupa) and then to Butterfly. Learning about the full life cycle as it began as an egg.
After sharing a story of the very hungry caterpillar, we set our butterflies free ๐Ÿฆ‹ "Go on little butterfly, you can do it" was the encouragement given by one child ๐Ÿฅฐas the children eagerly watched as the butterflies navigated their way out of the butterfly garden and then flew away ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿ›

We have been crafting for our summer board โ˜€๏ธ printing with apples ๐ŸŽ ๐Ÿฆ€ stamping with celery ๐ŸŽจdeveloping our fine motor skills and muscle strength ๐Ÿ– all important for those pre-writing skills โœ๏ธ

This week we have been continuing our topic of life cycles and as Wednesday was world Bee day ๐Ÿ, we have been learning all about Bees.
We have used books to answer our questions and find out fun facts about Bees, the children created honeycomb prints, their own craft Bees and we ended our week with a very exciting visit with real life Bees. We learnt all about how they pollinate our flowers and fruits to help them grow ๐ŸŒป๐ŸŒท and we got to see the Queen Bee. It was very interesting.

We now begin our half term break and we look forward to seeing our families on Monday 1st June ๐ŸŒž
