To help support name recognition as well as exploring the letter shapes that make up our names we have traced the letters with our fingers as well as placing animals and stickers over each letter. This has also helped to develop our pincer grip to help hold and use mark making and writing tool effectively.

Lincolnshire Day.
We have had a focus on Lincolnshire day today, we have been learning about the RAF within the area as well as exploring vegetables, in the home corner, cooking with carrots, sprouts, potato's and butternut squash and we have also been painting with vegetables to create our own Lincolnshire flag.

As part of our topic ‘All about me’ we exploring and noticing similarities and differences between ourselves and others. One of the activities the children have taken part in to explore this is creating their self-portraits.
