Recently we had an idyllic afternoon in the sunshine, Maypole dancing with Have Maypole Will Travel at Merryoaks Community Hall.

It was so enjoyable that I think we'll make it an annual event! Thank you to Elizabeth who made the afternoon so special. You were incredibly welcoming and nurturing with our children and they were calm and engaged throughout as a result. Kindred spirits!

🩵 Science for Our Littlest Learners 🩵

We had such a lovely session last week with The Curiosity Lab for our youngest scientists.

Our monthly primary science sessions are a gentle, welcoming way for children to explore ideas together while beginning to build home ed friendships and they’re a great opportunity for parents to connect too.

Last week’s session continued our CREST Award journey with a colourful, hands-on exploration themed around colour and investigation. It was wonderful to see so much curiosity and engagement from the children.

If you have a child who will be starting home education this September instead of school, these sessions can be a lovely first step.

Next to thank we have the fantastic Captain Raggy Beard who came along to do some storytelling. Our little ones really enjoyed his traditional tales and we look forward to having him back in a few weeks for a Sea Shanties session!

That's a wrap on a wonderful week of holiday provision for our younger ones. It was a delight watching you learn and play and grow together!

Firstly, a huge thank you to Creative Kitchen HQ who delivered a fantastic session for out youngest learners. We made porridge fingers inspired by Goldilocks and the Three Bears. I can personally confirm that they were yummy!!
