***WE ARE NOW CLOSED FOR OUR HOLIDAYS***
⚠️We are now closed Monday 31st August - Sunday 6th September inclusive, for our staff and horses to have a break after a very busy summer⚠️

➡️We will be back as normal Monday 7th September onwards⬅️

⚠️Please note that this closure does include the office, no emails or messages will be responded to whilst we are closed. This is so our staff can completely switch off on the break and allow a proper rest. We will get back to you as soon as possible on our return on Monday 7th!

Nothing makes us happier than seeing our horses content, relaxed, and enjoying themselves—even if that means a quick hedgerow snack after a ride!

A happy horse makes a happy rider, and moments like this are what we live for. Behind every smile in the arena is an incredible team of dedicated staff and volunteers who work tirelessly every single day to make sure our four-legged family members are loved, cared for, and treated as individuals.

Wow, that’s a wrap for the HEC Summer HAF! 🐴✨

We’ve had an extremely busy summer offering over 100 free HAF spaces for children aged 4 to 16!

For those who don't know, the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme is a government initiative funded by the Department for Education and managed locally by East Riding of Yorkshire Council. It provides free holiday activity places for children receiving benefits-related Free School Meals, as well as those with SEND or facing extra challenges. Each session combines enriching, hands-on activities with a free, healthy, nutritious meal—giving young people the chance to try something new, build confidence, and make lasting memories. 💛

Seeing so many young people learn, grow, and connect with our horses over the break has been absolute magic.

A massive THANK YOU to all of our incredible staff, helpers, and wonderful families who joined us. It has been an absolute pleasure, and we look forward to seeing you all again soon! 🌟

Andrew's ABRS Rosette Awards!
The next dates available to book are -
🤩Sunday 20th September
🤩Sunday 18th October
🤩Sunday 15th November* (Change of date!)
🤩Sunday 27th December
Sessions are 9.30 - 11.30 or 12.00 - 2.00 and £40 to include rosette / certificate each session.
Suitable for children aged 4- 15yrs

A massive congratulations to all 4 of Jenna's BHS students who took their BHS Stage 2 care last month and passed first time!

Nicola & Janet are proudly showing off their BHS certificates and are eager to start their stage 3 training - well done ladies!

A massive thank you to Andrew's wife Sarah and their pony Cookie for representing Howden Equestrian last weekend at Picnic on the pitch in Pocklington for Little Pips 1 year anniversary.

⚠️***TRAFFIC UPDATE***⚠️
We have received advance notice that there will be traffic lights both side of us on the A614 this coming week (24th August - 1st Sept) which will cause delays.
(Water tower road)

There is the existing set on the A614 between us and Howden, and for one week there will be an additional set between us and Holme-upon-Spaldingmoor.

Please allow extra time for travel.

***‼️Accepting new customers‼️***
We are still accepting new customers but our peak slots are getting close to full. We have reasonable availability on weekdays before 4pm for our discount private lessons.

We are accepting:
🐴Children (beginner and experienced)
🐴Adults of all levels
🐴Mechanical horse lessons (all ages)
🐴BHS examination training
🐴Changing Lives Through Horses Education

We have spaces in groups and for private lessons, but we are getting close to being full, so please message us early to avoid disappointment!
