I headed to BeBright Pre School today for a morning of role-play.

The children all played so beautifully in the city from looking after the animals in the vets, to giving make-overs in the salon and to putting fires out around the city.

The children have pet guinea pigs at pre-school and obviously do a brilliant job looking after them as one little boy filled the play water bottle up with real water to feed to the animals in the vets! Real life learning right there! It was soooo cute and proved that the children watch adults do everything as he knew exactly what to do! ❤️

I was made to feel so welcome by the brilliant team at Bebright pre-school and loved the learning environment the children get to be in everyday ❤️.

I'm already looking forward to being back at BeBright pre-school later in the year for a Christmas special 🎄

Today is a very exciting day at pre school as we welcome Little City in to pre school. We always try to offer a range of different experiences at pre school that enhance all areas of early years education. But what is most important to us is learning through purposeful play. The children are going to have the best time today!

🌈🍂🍁 Let Them Thrive, Strive & Shine 🍁🍂🌈

Somewhere along the way, childhood became something we started rushing through.

We began focusing on reaching milestones sooner, learning more skills, achieving more, and constantly preparing our children for the next stage of life.

But in our hurry to help them get ahead, are we forgetting what childhood is really about?

Childhood should be filled with muddy puddles, crunchy autumn leaves, messy adventures, endless questions, laughter, imagination, and the freedom to simply be.

Every child grows differently. Every child learns differently. And every child deserves the opportunity to shine in their own unique way.

Being ahead doesn't always mean thriving, and taking a little longer doesn't mean falling behind.

Not every moment needs to be productive. Not everything needs to be a lesson. Sometimes, the most important thing a child can do is simply play, explore, dream, and enjoy being little.

Just like the beautiful colours of an autumn rainbow, every child brings something different and special to the world. 🌈🍁

Let's give children the space to thrive, the confidence to strive when they're ready, and the freedom to shine as exactly who they are.

They have their whole lives ahead of them to grow, face responsibilities, and chase their dreams.

But they only get one childhood.

Let them play. Let them wonder. Let them grow.

Let them thrive, not just strive. And above all, let them shine. 🤍

Because childhood isn't just preparation for life.

Childhood is life. And it deserves to be cherished, celebrated, and protected. 🍂🌈

🌍❤️ World Heart Day ❤️🌍

Today, we are recognising World Heart Day and celebrating two very special little boys in our BeBright family who are our very own heart warriors. ❤️💙

These two amazing boys remind us every day just how much strength, courage and determination can come in the smallest of packages. They bring their own unique personalities, smiles and happiness to our preschool, and we feel incredibly lucky to be part of their journeys. 🥰

World Heart Day is a lovely opportunity to raise awareness of heart conditions and celebrate the children and families who navigate challenges that many of us may never fully understand. Behind every heart warrior is a family showing incredible love, strength and resilience. 💗

At BeBright, we are proud to provide a place where every child is celebrated, supported and included for exactly who they are. Our two little heart warriors are an important part of our BeBright family, and we couldn't be prouder of them! ❤️

🌍 World Gratitude Day at BeBright Pre‑School
Today we’re celebrating World Gratitude Day — a lovely reminder to pause, notice, and appreciate the little things that make our days brighter.
In early years, gratitude grows through simple moments: sharing toys, helping a friend, saying thank you, or recognising something that made us smile.

We are also very proud of our kindness club that is part of our curriculum and expertly led by Kim.

Miss Lisa LT Acro has been supporting us as part of our enhanced curriculum offer at pre school for over 3 years now and delivers two classes per week. What she provides in her classes is sparkle, learning and movement. Our children LOVE her. Her sessions are incredible at delivering every area of development of the EYFS. We’re so excited to say that our Be Bright classes are back for September! 💛

🌈 Tomorrow Saturday 5th September at 11am – A Spectrum of Love
A lovely welcoming session to kick off our September classes! ❤️
Please note: Tomorrow’s session needs to be booked directly through A Spectrum of Love via their page, not through our usual Be Bright classes booking page.

✨ A day of firsts… ✨

Today, we’ll be thinking of our very first cohort of BeBright Stars as they head off to secondary school. 🌟

We’ll also be thinking of all those who have recently left us and are beginning their next adventures, while warmly welcoming back our existing families and saying hello to those joining the BeBright family for the very first time. 💛

There will be excitement, nerves, big smiles and perhaps a few wobbles along the way — for children and grown-ups alike.

Whatever today brings, take each step as it comes, with nurture, trust and patience.

Every new beginning takes time. Trust the journey, celebrate the little moments, and know that each small step is part of something much bigger.
