🎉 We’re finalists — twice!

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Riverside Training (Spalding) Ltd has been named a finalist in the Training Provider / Programme category at the Peterborough Apprenticeship Awards 2026.

We’re equally delighted that Rebecca Richard, a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprentice at Peterborough Day Nursery, has been selected as a finalist in the Advanced Apprentice category.

Rebecca’s recognition is thoroughly deserved and reflects her commitment, development and positive contribution to her setting.

Being recognised in both categories is also a fantastic achievement for our entire team, our apprentices and the employers who work alongside us.

🚨 BIG NEWS FOR EARLY YEARS EMPLOYERS 🚨

From October 2026, eligible employers could receive up to £2,000 in government funding when recruiting a new apprentice aged 16-24.

Even better, apprenticeship training for under 25s is expected to be fully funded, meaning many employers could pay £0 towards training costs.

With ongoing recruitment challenges across the Early Years sector, there has never been a better time to invest in new talent and grow your workforce through apprenticeships.
