As we come to the end of another fantastic school year, we would like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt goodbye and thank you to three valued members of our team.

We wish Mr Mahabadi, Miss Hoyles-Simpson and Miss Beeson every success and happiness as they move on to exciting new opportunities. We are incredibly grateful for the care, dedication and commitment they have shown to our children and school community during their time at Spalding St Paul's.

We would also like to say "see you next year" to Miss Gilbert, who will be spending the next academic year on secondment at a special school within the Trust. This is a wonderful professional opportunity, and we know she will make a fantastic contribution. We look forward to welcoming her back to Spalding St Paul's in the future.

Please join us in thanking them all for their hard work and wishing them the very best for the next chapter of their journeys. 💙⭐

Just a reminder of the Year 6 picnic and colour run tomorrow. Please come from 1pm and join your children on the school field for a picnic. At 2pm a colour run will follow with a final presentation for the children at the end! We are looking forward to seeing all of our year 6 families.

Just to note: Children to wear PE kit and preferably a white t-shirt. If they have sunglasses they may wear them during the run to protect eyes from the powder paint.

What a busy afternoon for Beech Class - Year 3!
The children iced and decorated some biscuits. Then they finished their design technology work by constructing their own shell structures which they had designed to hold 2 biscuits. The children worked hard cutting, folding, joining and decorating their containers. Well done for showing so many skills in one afternoon!

⚽ Inspiring Visit from Luke Steele ⚽

On Friday, we welcomed former professional goalkeeper Luke Steele and co-founder of the Youth Dreams Project (YDP). Luke shared his journey and inspired our pupils with an important message: dream big, work hard and never give up when faced with setbacks.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the session and left feeling motivated to pursue their own goals.

A BIG thank you to all of the parents who were able to make it to our Design Technology cafe this afternoon in Year 3. What an incredible turnout! I am so sorry that you had to cope with such heat! It was lovely to see so many of you and to see how much the children enjoyed constructing 3D shapes using spaghetti and marshmallows, building 3D shapes using card nets, decorating wooden birds and using various construction kits. Thank you for attending similar events all year - you have been a pleasure.

🎉 Fundraising Update 🎉
We're thrilled to share that our fundraising total for the new EYFS Outdoor Area has now reached an amazing £7,785.09! 🙌
This fantastic total includes proceeds from our Summer Fayre (£1,081.85), Father's Day Mug Fundraiser, and recent Book Sale.
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts so far, especially our wonderful PTA (aka Mrs Repper!) and Spalding Rotary Club. Your generosity is helping us get closer to our goal of £23,280 to create an exciting new outdoor play and learning space for our Early Years children.
