Last night, Choir indulged Alice with a Dolly Parton singalong, singing lots of her fabulous hits from her catalogue. Lots of you will remember our summer concert last year, A Country Chorus Jamboree, featured a whole lotta Dolly in the second half!

Thinking of all our fabulous students picking up GCSE results today. As with last week, the studio (and the SHC workshop) will be a ‘results free-zone’. Tell the staff if you wish, but we won’t ask, and please don’t ask each other. Besides, there isn’t time to talk results, we have Fame and The Lightning Thief to work on, and they are far more important!

We had an absolute blast last week putting on FINDING NEMO KIDS with a super and talented group of 54 7-12yr olds! Every single child was polite, enthusiastic and put their all into the week, culminating in a wonderful performance at the end.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped throughout the week: Lily, Liz, Jo, Sarah, Sarah, Elaine, Paul and everyone at the South Holland Centre. And an extra special thank you to Jack, Emily and Sage who went above and beyond keeping Charlotte sane as she was dealing with Karl's hospital stay alongside the workshop and ensuring a top quality workshop for all our brilliant performers!

Now let's do it all again with the big kids next week for FAME JR!
