100KM. 17 Hours 30 Minutes.
One Incredible Achievement.
Yesterday, James took on the monumental challenge of completing 100KM on foot within 24 hours, pushing himself beyond his limits to raise funds for Boxes of Hope and our club.
James set off at 03:20, beginning his first lap in the early hours of the morning, and crossed the finish line at 20:50. What an incredible display of endurance, resilience and sheer determination.
Completing 100KM on foot is a phenomenal achievement in itself, but James’ challenge was about so much more than the distance. Every step was taken with a purpose: to raise funds that will help support people within our community and assist students in their continued development and growth through Taekwon-Do.
Mind over matter. James demonstrated exactly what can be achieved when determination, focus and commitment are pushed to their limits. Through the inevitable physical and mental challenges of such an extraordinary undertaking, he continued forward and refused to give in.
His achievement is a true inspiration to us all and a powerful reflection of the values we strive to uphold through Taekwon-Do.
We are incredibly proud and immensely grateful to James for his dedication to our club and the ambassador he is.
We would like to thank all those who supported James, wished him well and donated their hard earned money to this challenge! A special call to Mr M Willis, who joined James for some laps, giving up his time to keep James company and be so active in his support of the club!
100KM completed. A phenomenal achievement. An incredible inspiration.
Congratulations, James — we could not be prouder. 🥋👏
